Thoroughly enjoyed our time in Warrenpoint and totally recommend the Diamond Restaurant for gorgeous food. We stayed in the Lough n Quay, a brilliant accommodation 10 out of 10. Adele was the most friendliest asset to the hotel, a great help and a really lovely girl.

The size of the hotel was just right, not too big so had more of a personal touch from staff, especially Bernie cheerful lady who did a great breakfast for us, also Edele very helpful all the staff were but didn't get all their names. No negatives about the hotel at all.

Warrenpoint is close enough to the Mourne Mountains for those wishing to climb the smaller peaks to gain access but also being beside Carlingford Lough, it can provide a pleasant evening stroll, with fresh maritime air and interesting scenery. There are several coffee shops and takeaways in the town for eating and a hotel and a couple of restaurants for a sit down meal. However, I'm not sure about booking. The town is small enough to walk around and a fairly regular bus service to Newry or to Rostrevor and Kilkeel. The Synge and Byrne cafe in KIlbroney Park, outside Rostrevor, will provide you with a cooked breakfast or great scenery for a coffee after a hard day's walking.

Very comfortable apartment in quiet location.
Very comfortable apartment in quiet location. Perhaps a little too far out of Warrenpoint to comfortably walk into town but otherwise nice location. Hosts ensured our needs were well catered for and we will hope to stay again when we next visit the area. Thank you .

Lovely area and ideal location to access Rostrevor during the Festival, as well as close proximity to Southern Ireland. Good restaurants and everyone was extremely helpful, friendly and very accommodating towards children.
l LOVE THE TOWN AND BEAUTIFUL SURROUNDINGS AND PEOPLE WERE FANTASTIC, THE PROPERTY HAS A COZY FEELING AND FRIENDLY. LOTS OF SHOPS AND CAFES AROUND WHICH ARE FANTASTIC. THE TOWN OF ROSTOVER A FEW KILOMETERS AWAY WORTH THE DAYS WALK TO A RESTAURANT CALL THE CHURCH WHICH SERVES AMAZING FOOD, IN THE HOTEL THE VEGAN BURGER WAS DELICIOUS AND ONLY VEGAN OPTION THAT WAS AVAILABLE.. THE MORNING PORAGE AND VEGAN BREAKFAST WERE QUITE DELICIOUS. IT WOULD BE NICE TO SEE MORE OPTIONS FOR A LATER STAY.
Where do we start. Everything was 100%+. Warmest of welcomes from all the staff and the warmth and friendliness continued throughout our stay. Great hospitality. Felt like we were family. We were totally spoilt at breakfast - quality, quantity and choice was above and beyond. Location of the Lough and Quay is very central with plenty of free parking. The room was very large and airy. Bed super king size and very comfortable. Lough and Quay is THE place to stay in Warrenpoint.
Beautiful old property full of original features with gorgeous views over the Lough. Something a bit different to the normal modern hotel stay. This was booked as somewhere to lay our heads for the night after attending a wedding nearby but the level of service and care from our host really made it a lovely experience. Would book again. Khris went above and beyond and breakfast was incredible!
Beautiful place to stay with a great view of the bay. Hosts have thought of everything you could need in this modern apartment. Such a nice welcome is provided and much appreciated. Everything inside is new and rooms are exceptionally clean. Definitely a place you can relax and unwind with easy access to shops and restaurants. Will stay again on any future trips.
Breakfast was not included ........
Warren Point was fine.
Mourne Coastal Route (in front of the property) from Newcastle to Newry was very scenic, and provided for a few 'day's out'
Property was ideal for older members of the family, who would find hotels a bit restrictive, set times for meals, noise from restaurant/bar areas, etc ......
Excellent location, central, first class bus service from Newry to Carlingford, Belfast, Rostrevor. Lovely view from the front windows. I have always found the people from Northern Ireland to be very friendly and welcoming to visitors, I have already recommended Warrenpoint and this property to my family if visiting the area.
It was very clean and the staff was super friendly. The bed was very comfortable. We ate at the hotel and the service was extremely prompt for both dinner and breakfast. It was very good food as well. We accidentally paid for breakfast included in our room. At check out they realize that and happily refunded the amount.
The suite with the water view was fantastic. I can’t speak for any of the other rooms. Comfy bed, great view of Northern Ireland on one side of the bay and Ireland on the other. Across from the beach and near great restaurants- just do your research depending on what kind of food you like.
Apartment was a beautiful space with lots of character. Great location for exploring the stunning Mournes scenery and Warrenpoint. Narrow Water Castle is a beautiful setting - the five of us really enjoyed a relaxing weekend- a treat to celebrate my recent big birthday.
When we arrived the lights were switched on, a snack package was ready for us and the place looked cozy, ready for us to move in for the weekend. The hosts were extremely quick in replying and very friendly. I will definitely stay here again when coming to Warrenpoint :)
We had a large, very comfortable room overlooking the sea and very much enjoyed the view. The staff were friendly and helpful and gave us a lovely warm welcome. We especially enjoyed our meal in the hotel which we both agreed was the best meal of our entire holiday.
A lovely little house in a lovely part of the world with everything you need for a short stay in beautiful warrenpoint. Our children especially loved playing fetch with the lovely Harper 🥰. Thank you for a wonderful stay.xx
Basic guest house. The two guys running the place and doing the rooms were good. Clean room and good toilet/shower. Great location and 50 yards from the Whistledown Hotel. The daily rate was good.
Lovely peaceful surroundings, plenty of walks. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Lovely bed linen and towels. Close to Warrenpoint, 15 minute walk or 4 minutes in car.
The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. A special thank you to Caroline. The room we stayed in was very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely plenty of choice.
