Everything. The rooms are very clean and attractively furnished. Great shower. Very comfortable bed. The breakfast is as good as it gets. I've stayed many times and the Holly Trees hotel is a real home from home with the most welcoming hosts. I look forward to my next stay in July.

This hotel is in a quiet location, has a large car park with large spaces, Very helpful staff, lovely room, clean, large comfortable bed, we used the restaurant which has a good menu, the food was excellent. We needed breakfast earlier than the hotel offered. One of the girls was asked if she could come in early just for us, the reply was of course with a smile, the breakfast was lovely.

Lovely area and I think the hotel is lovely too just needs a few adjustments. I am sure there
Was no malice meant but we really did feel unwelcome. In particular the person who greeted us and was there at checkout was not very friendly and barely looked up from his computer screen. I am sure we caught him on a bad day but it really impacted our stay.
The hotel is set in beautiful and peaceful countryside and there are several public footpaths around if you enjoy walking.
It is also dog friendly. The room was very comfortable with a large bathroom. The food in the restaurant was very good with a large choice and staff were friendly and helpful.
Staff were mainly friendly, efficient and hard working.
Room 3 had a lovely outlook over the river Wheelock and church.
The church bells ringing the times through the day and night was like stepping back in time.
The whole hotel was dog friendly and dogs are made to feel as welcome as the hoomans.
Hotel was luxurious , staff friendly and attentive, food delicious with great choices. Location quiet and peacefull. Dogs welcomed with doggy gift bag, treats galore. Beds and doggy bowls provided.
we have never stayed at a hotel that is so dog friendly. it’s very refreshing to have your dog so well received as us humans are! The food was exceptional and we will definitely be returning.
This hotel IS JUST the best. I was stuck in a horrendous traffic jam on the M6 they held the kitchen open for me even though I arrived at closing time.?top top top hotel😍
