I have stayed here before over the last 10 years. I have always enjoyed the facilities and staff. The rooms are clean and much improved due to new ownership and management. Showers are good. Bed was comfortable.
I was at Walsden, the next village, part of Todmorden.
I was at Walsden, the next village, part of Todmorden. If the weather had not been so bad I would have done some walking. The countryside is stunning. I stayed at Enchanting Haven which is stone's throw from Walsden Station.

Todmorden is a charming town that offers a unique and memorable experience. From its picturesque landscapes to its rich history, there's something for everyone to enjoy. The must-visit spot is the Todmorden Market, where you can find a variety of local produce, crafts, and delicious food. And if you're a nature lover, don't miss a visit to the tranquil Centre Vale Park, perfect for a leisurely stroll or a picnic. Todmorden truly captures the essence of a quaint English town and is definitely worth exploring!

Todmorden is a very pleasant, interesting, well located former mill town with a good variety of shops, pubs and eateries (we especially recommend “Eat”) great market (indoor and outdoor) and nice canalside. Don’t miss the Town hall which is an outstanding building with a superbly renovated main hall.
The town is also very well located for accessing the surrounding countryside and neighbouring towns of Hebden Bridge and Halifax.

Todmorden is a lovely chilled town with loads of interesting walks to do, everything from canals to hills. I recommend visitingTodmorden beach as a place to visit. There are lots of cafes and pubs to visit, check out the Golden Lion and their amazing thai food. Todmorden has a briliant train service and it is very easy to commute to Hebden Bridge or Manchester from here.

Lovely town in a beautiful setting.
Lovely town in a beautiful setting. You feel that you can reach out and touch the surrounding woods and moorland.
A real gothic feel about buildings and architecture. Canal and streams weave through the town.
Some quirky shops, bars/cafes, an alternative feel to the place, reminded me of parts of Bristol that I knew in the 80s.
The apartment is quiet and very comfortable. Good facilities in the unit. Good shower. Good storage but in the "main" room only. Most especially, good communication with the owner.
The location is a mile from Todmorden centre and slightly less to Morrissons which is en route. Buses pass by directly outside about every two hours Monday to Saturday for limited hours, but there is a more frequent service within a 10 - 15 minutes walk.
The location is great , the staff were amazing. And bent over backwards to help, as much as they could ,
The manager has very good interpersonal skills and should be commended by his bosses ,
The second night , we were moved , a better quieter more comfortable room , and purchased pillows so we slept well , could be a wonderful hotel with money spent on it , great old building
I loved the flat. It was lovely and had everything I needed. The hosts had left tea, proper coffee, milk and even homemade banana bread. The place was super cosy, and I couldn't have asked for anything else. The induction was clear and I got to meet the owners who couldn't have been nicer. I was at an event in Todmorden and it's about a 20-minute walk down the hill.
A compact and comfortable apartment with all the facilities we needed for a four-night stay. Andy and Leila were available when we needed them, and we had a great time. Glenroyd House is close to the centre of Todmorden, but off main traffic routes, and the area is peaceful, with open country above the house.
Would I go back? Definitely.
The furnishings were extremely good and of good quality, although the decor was of a very individual taste.
There was plenty of storage space, even though bedrooms were quite small.
The property is close to the centre of Todmorden, allowing fairly easy access to restaurants and to public transport
The property was very pretty and extremely well appointed, clean and comfortable . Lovely host, very helpful. Great location near the park and an easy walk into the town. Close to all local attractions, we visited Hebden Bridge. Good vegan restaurant in Todmorden.
Would highly recommend.
Perfect location opposite the station, friendly staff, comfortable bed, very clean room and a great selection at the continental breakfast.
Todmorden itself was also excellent with a great number and variety of pubs and places to eat. An ideal location for rambling in the Pennines too.
This is the first Hotel in many years where the bed wasn't made and towels changed after the first nights stay.
The location is good but depending which room you are in you either get the local church clock or trains arriving/departing from the train station.
It was a comfy room in a lovely home and was the perfect accommodation for my night in Walsden. Jo was a fabulous host and even gave me a lift to Todmorden and booked me a taxi home. Definitely recommend for solo travellers or couples.
Great location. Wonderful accomadation and great hosts. The coach house was wonderful, clean and felt like home away from home. 20 minutes walk away from Todmorden Town centre. And Gary was really helpful!
