It was all good but we would particularly highlight the food and service in the restaurant.

Fantastic pub with great beer on draught, very friendly staff who were super helpful, lovely clean room and en-suite shower, and an excellent home cooked breakfast to top it all off. Thoroughly recommend this place

The view. The ambience/quietness. The staff. The food. The room.
The beautiful, half-timbered Bell is across the street from Tewkesbury Abbey. It has a friendly bar and restaurant and cosy en suite bedrooms, some offering views of the Abbey.

Great Breakfast, lovely choice. Evening meal was good. Disappointed that the chain was owned by Green King and there was no Abbots Ale on draught😇. Great location even though it was raining we got around ok.

Twin room beds very very small only 2'6" wide. Mattress super soft. Our room was at the top of the building spiral stairs very difficult for an older person to manage. Not suitable should have been mentioned in the information. However this was a super clean place to stay excellent breakfast. Advertised with car park however this was very difficult to find and very small. Had to park in pay and display across the road.

Nice town but very little to do I visited on a Friday and at night the pubs and restaurants were all empty at 10pm. I would advise going to Gloucester if you are looking for somewhere to visit in this area

Tewkesbury is a beautiful area with some lovely old towns round about to visit. The Malvern hills are great for walking and the views from up on the top are absolutely stunning all around. Plenty of historic buildings and some lovely old pubs and good for shopping too.

The Tudor House provided a splendid stay, in a smart but relaxed environment - 100 Percent on every level although my review when published by Booking.com somehow looked like I had not scored 100 percent in the categories!
May I say that I am looking forward to having an opertunity to plan a stay there again. Without exception, the team members could have not be more welcoming or accommodating. I THANK YOU ALL on behalf of myself and Solomon :)

No review to write as they cancelled my booking saying that there was a problem with the room. A friend was also looking to book and noticed that they were advertising rooms available. This was during Cheltenham so I suspect that they cancelled as they thought they could get more money for the room!
There was no compassion from them, as it was last minute I could only find a Travel Lodge

There are a lot of independent shops and antique emporiums to browse around as well as some High Street names. Lots of cafes to sample too. There were some interesting restaurants but far too many were Indian for the size of town. Great if you love Indian food but not so good if you are looking for variety. The river is a pretty attraction and being able to walk along its banks is lovely. Boat trips are available during the summer. The marina is very attractive and has some lovely pubs in which to pass some relaxing time. The Black Bear pub is well worth a visit and has been fully refurbished recently (2024).

The wide variation of carpets upstairs looked like an Arab Souk. Parking was adequate at the back of the premises. Great atmosphere as a commercial pub near a famous Racecourse (Cheltenham) but the staff training towards visiting guests needs quite a bit of work !!
Such a fantastic building with lots of history. Room was very nice with comfortable bed. And little touches like books. Playing cards. Noughts and crosses. Tea and coffee. Lovely shower room. Evening meals were very nice and breakfast next morning was great. The hotel is in the high street but it was quiet. The abby is close by and a nice place to visit. All the staff in the hotel were amazing and very helpfull. Can't wait to go back
Wetherspoons fayre is always of a good standard. Made welcome by the staff & room very quirky as it was up in the original roof space. Bed comfortable & big! Large garden area to sit & enjoy the sunshine. Town centre & range of local craft shops interesting. A river passes close by the Hotel, which allows you a walk amongst the greenery & you can even hire a boat locally to explore the stretch of waterway at a reasonable cost.
Modern apartment in central location with parking for one car. Location, parking, heating, lighting, beds & bedding, towels, kitchen & dining facilities and TV were excellent. Seating area is a little small but was comfortable and OK for our family of two overnight and one daytime visitor. The outdoor area would have been an added bonus if the weather had been kinder.
We were attending the annual medieval festival in Tewkesbury. This little house was perfectly located, close to town centre bus stops and a comfortable walk from the festival site, as well as the Abbey. The house is well fitted out with much care, it's compact and comfortable. It helped make our stay very enjoyable.
excellent location for exploring the Tewkesbury area. The couple who own it have a great eye for furnishings as the whole property has a touch of class about it. Easy access and process for leaving. would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. We will definitely use this property again.
Value for money. As a guest of the hotel you will receive a ticket to place on your car dashboard for the duration of your stay - so essentially free parking. The breakfast and other meals in general at The Bell hotel are very generous - so again, value for money. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
Excellent place. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Shower is amazing. Its a very easy flat walk into town centre ( took us 11 minutes). There is a pub about 5 minutes walk if you want something closer. We even watched a film on Netflix before retiring for the evening. Highly recommended
Good for exploring Tewkesbury - within walking distance of the town centre. The house is clean and well organised, especially in the kitchen and laundry. It was great to have a private courtyard area in which to enjoy our morning coffee, and everything was clean, neat and tidy.
We've visited this hotel several times and requested a specific room when booking - we got it! We had a great meal in the garden with a lovely view across the meadows which was served quickly and efficiently . It's a great place to stay which is why we keep coming back!
Food was good as that is all we were able to sample as they had double booked our room s o had to find other accomodation for the night. Manager was helpful in arranging this although the hotel he found for us was terrible
The place was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. Nice breakfast and a large breakfast menu. The scrambled egg looked lovely but we opted for a full English. A great location for Tewkesbury town centre.
The staff were lovely, the hotel was on beautiful grounds, comfortable beds, and the swimming pool was just lovely. The bar is also really nice, especially sitting outside on the courtyard with a drink.
Extremely clean and well maintained hotel. Breakfast was lovely. Twin room was spacious, bright and comfortable. Very good location with easy access to Tewkesbury!
pleasant hotel surrounded by a golf course. very comfortable well appointed room. excellent breakfasts. had dinner one night in the hotel which was also good.
