Tarbert Holiday Park is located in Tarbert. The camping offers a sun terrace. After a day of hiking, cycling or fishing, guests can relax in the shared lounge area.

After we spoke Flora and let her know we would be late, she set the heater so it would be warm for us when we arrived. The little hut was cozy and the beds were comfortable. The little cafe at the top of the hill had great brunch also was very convenient.

Everything about this B and B is perfect. Andrew and Ian put in such an effort to keep the place beautiful, clean, and welcoming. The kind welome I received with a lovely cup of tea after a long journey was much appreciated. The dogs are lovely and being shown the garden and having the wonderful view of the loch from my window was wonderful. This was my favourite place I stayed at during my 10-day trip and I would come back in a heartbeat. The bed is so comfy and no expense has been spared in making the room modern and snug. I could have just stayed in my beautiful room (single room with a view-but there is a double bed that is brand new!) and watched tv under the lovely spotlights for the whole weekend. I loved it! Really close to Kennacraig ferry, so good base for Islay and Jura etc. Also, parking is free in right in front of the hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

You have 67 acres of woodland and an island to explore. Good access to ferries for island hops. Local villages and small towns nearby. Log fires encourage relaxing in either the bar, library or old fashioned drawing room. If you want to forget that the rest of the world exists then this is the place to be.

We only stayed for one night but will definitely return, God willing. Met with an exceptionally warm welcome from the start, we felt immediately at home. Our room was very nice and the bed super comfy. Nothing was too much trouble during our stay. The dinner menu was wonderful- so many options but what we chose was delicious! The dining room view out onto the loch and gardens would be hard to beat anywhere! The hotel has many beautiful original features and many cosy corners for a little drink or quiet read, lots of wildlife to watch too. The hotel is surrounded by lovely gardens and is full of freshly cut flowers which I found a really homely and lovely touch. The manageress and her team of staff were the warmest and friendliest staff we’ve met in a long time and they really made us feel so special. The manageress spoke so affectionately about her team it was clear they are all really committed to this place. I’m sure if you appreciate stunning scenery, historic architecture and meeting delightful staff, you’ll enjoy a holiday here too! We highly recommend Stonefield Castle Hotel - such a special hotel!

This is a traditional country house hotel.

This is a traditional country house hotel. The furnishings reflect this - it’s not the standard corporate feel of the Premier Inn. It has character and atmosphere with views that are stunning. The restaurant is better than most hotels I have been to, and the staff are super. It’s a big old house so yes, another £500k would make it look better - but it is roomy, comfortable and a lovely place to stay for a few days. Loved it…

Very comfortable dog friendly hotel with great walks around the Loch straight from the door. Really nice room and very helpful staff. Food varied, but really impressive that the cost of our one poor evening meal was refunded when we mentioned it hadn’t been anywhere near as good as the previous night. Breakfast enjoyable. Lovely library and lounge to relax in, and we would have liked to stay longer as the hotel is a great place for an escape from the outside world. Highly recommended.

The best thing about this hotel is the staff. They were extremely welcoming, helpful and very kind to our dogs. Recent events have resulted in staff shortages but they managed heroically. The fabric of the building has seen better days but is nicely decorated. There are a couple of astonishingly impressive paintings in the reception roooms.

Staff were very welcoming and understanding of our slightly late arrival (ferry issues). The decor and furnishings give this hotel a very authentic 'stately home' feel and experience throughout. Loved the free roaming guests' dogs that were in the bar area. View from the dining room at breakfast was fantastic.

The location was fantastic and the scenery beautiful. The fact that there is a small beach on site is a real bonus and treat. The hotel itself has incredible architecture and features. When problems were raised, the manager did her best to sort them to the best of her ability. This was really appreciated.
