There was no breakfast, for the price I would of expected one.

Much Wenlock is a lovely little market town perfect as a base. There are few interesting shops and if you like Indian food highly recommend the Bilash. There is a regular bus service taking you to Shrewsbury or Bridgenorth. We enjoyed our stay and found it very relaxing.

Traditional large country village, with a few local shops.
Traditional large country village, with a few local shops. Some beautiful medieval buildings, although sadly one or two were empty and a little neglected. At night, even on a Saturday, you could hear a pin drop even on the High Street and if you want to eat out, come early because kitchens close at 8 or 8.15 at the latest !!! The locals were mostly friendly and the local accent is a thing of beauty.

A really interesting and history rich village.
A really interesting and history rich village. Great of Olympic enthusiasts. Lovely little museum which explained why it is the birth place of the Olympics. Lovely little shops with an excellent book shop, which also had a fabulous second hand vinyl section. It's a beautiful village architecturally. Worth bearing in mind there are NO taxi services available to collect you without some pleading to firms in Telford or Shrewsbury.

A little gem of a market town full of friendly locals and with a lot of talented artisans who showed their wares at the Saturday market (exceptional).
Perfectly placed location to explore Shropshire - small, but full of interest and easy access to well-known sites.
Wonderful walks from the heart of the town give you a real feel for the countryside.

Much Wenlock is a very interesting little town steeped in history. There is a Priory which is managed by English Heritage and other historical buildings in the town, There is an interesting selection of independent shops. There are also a number a very pleasant walks in the area of varying lengths. There are many interesting placxes to visit in the local area not too far away.
A hidden gem.
Humbug cottage is beautiful, spotless clean, lovely welcome pack on arrival - home made brownies!!!! There we five of us there for a friends birthday celebration. We had some wonderful meals at the Talbot Hotel/Pub - the portions are huge. Much Wenlock is a delightful little village. We also took the bus into Shrewsbury.
Don't hesitate to book this cottage it is just so lovely, warm and cosy with everything you need.
Great location in the centre of the village, very close to Wenlock Edge and to Much Wenlock's beautiful park. The Fox is an extremely friendly place (very welcoming to our dog as well as us), and exceptional value for money. The room was spacious, warm, quiet, and beautifully appointed. Both the evening meal (simple and delicious) and breakfast were excellent. Really can't wait to have a chance to go back there!
This is a pleasant apartment near to the centre of Much Wenlock. It has two bedrooms and a comfortable lounge with a well-appointed kitchen. There is car parking around 20 metres away and the various pubs and restaurants in the town can all be easily reached on foot. It has a key pad lock which means that you can't lock yourself out, which is also handy. It is dog friendly. The wifi worked very well.
The location was very central in Much Wenlock with easy access on foot to cafes, bars, restaurants and points of interest. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was practical with lounge seating in the room. The key for the apartment was spotlessly clean and easy to access via the combination lock. Parking was available in the public car park adjacent to the property.
Much Wenlock is picturesque and beautiful village, and this apartment's location within the village - is second to none.
It was easy to get to using public transport (a bus every hour to/from Shrewsbury).
The apartment is very cosy, and the kitchen is well equipped with high-end electric devices.
The bed was divine!
Many thanks David for this lovely place!
Lovely apartment whcih was well equipped for our stay. Parking outside and ideally located within the town of Much Wenlock and a short drive to Ironbridge, Telford and Shrewsbury. It was great to have piping hot water, literally immediately on tap and the shower was equally cosy. Owners were very accommodating and communication very good. Thank you Pam!
On arrival parking was easy after a 6 hour drive this was very welcoming! Reception staff helpful and the room was spacious and comfortable. I ate in the hotel in the evening for convenience and the food was tasty and the restaurant was busy. The open fireplace made the room cosy. Breakfast was great and cooked to order and friendly staff 😊
Very handy location just behind the Fox Hotel in the delightful town of Much Wenlock. Apartment comfortable and well-provisioned, kitchen-diner has excellent electric oven and induction hob, and instant hot water from undersink heater. There's a dishwasher and clothes washer-dryer too, although we didn't use it. Good TV and WiFi.
The location was great for our family- parking outside our door and walking distance to the lovely town of Much Wenlock and two traditional restaurant pubs. Apartment was very clean and well appointed- washer/dryer, full kitchen, comfy beds, and very hot water. Hope to stay here again
Location was great for our requirements.
Comfortable carpets, comfortable bed, luxury feel, room was a large size, lots of local information, television worked.
Food was fantastic from the pub beneath.
Staff were excellent, especially Nuno who seemed to be running the place single-handed.
The Talbot Inn is in an excellent location in the centre of Much Wenlock. The food is home cooked, tasty and really good value. Public parking is very close and at a reasonable charge. The staff are friendly and efficient, and clearly work as a great team
We loved our stay at Fox Corner. A very well equipped and comfortable house in a great location. The Christmas Market in Much Wenlock was so lovely and made our weekend extra special.
Friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered in a hotel.
Food was delicious
Nothing was too much trouble
Never felt so welcomed in all my years of staying in accommodation
Beautifully done up cottage in the heart of pretty historic Much Wenlock. A few steps to everything the town has to offer including an exceptional meal at The Raven.
