The place is beautiful. Such a lovely couple and the whole team is so friendly. Delicious breakfast and we even had special food for my little one (choosy eater). The heated pool was the cherry on top the cake for us. Lovely place, definitely going back.

Lyme Regis was a perfect base for exploring the Jurassic coast. The town is clean and well kept. There is a good selection of shops and a couple of small supermarkets but also independent bakers. The museum is worth a visit and the micro brewery. The staff in hotels, shops and restaurants are so friendly and helpful. There is plenty to do in and around the town which boasts an excellent beach and nice walks. It is easy to catch a bus east or west. Lyme Regis has a lovely atmosphere with families and dogs milling around happily. We were lucky to have good weather 9 days out of 10! All in all it exceeded our expectations!

People very friendly and helpful.
People very friendly and helpful. Car parking is not great and you can only stay for a max of 3 hrs, no return for 4hrs in ncp in the town. Park and ride was closed! Car parks further out if you don't mind a walk.
Found a great pub, The Ship Inn on our way from car park, had lunch and returned for dinner!

The weather was fantastic and it had lasted I would definitely wanted to stay longer. It was torrential rain the day we left!! It was perfect for a relaxing couple of days, a bit too busy but it was the first weekend of warm weather this year!! You could however find quieter places to sit on the beach and our accommodation was located in peaceful area. Lovely places to eat & drink and a quaint town.

There are lovely independent shops, the is only a coop and Tesco extra, so food quite basic, there are some lovely cafes for lunches,
It is on a hill so you have to be able to manage a small hill, the beach and walk along the beach front is flat, there are good ice cream stalls, I think it would be very busy in summer, we found a few fossils to take home, Monmouth beach is rocky but has some lovely fossils in large rocks to see and the amonite pavement
This was my second visit to the charming Mariner Hotel in Lyme Regis and there had been many positive updates since my first visit over thirty years ago. The dining/breakfast room now has glass doors looking out over the garden and we enjoyed our delicious breakfast every sitting in that bright room with it's seaside views. A few things might have made our stay even more pleasant, like soap at the bathroom sink to wash hands and washcloths, but we were delighted with our room. The staff were impeccable!
We were down in Lyme Regis for a friends wedding and this was great for us, amazing location - less than 10 min walk down to the seafront, lovely room with sea view, super comfortable bed. All the little extras really gave it a nice touch i.e. mini fridge in room with a glass bottle for water and another for milk, plates bowls and cups in the room, mini coffee setup etc. They provided a map and an information sheet with all the things we could need to know, which was very helpful.
The location could not be better, right on Cobb Gate (R.I.P. the old chippy!). We had a beautiful uninterrupted sea view from our window. Perfect for anybody wishing to be right in the heart of Lyme Regis, right on the shore. The room was well appointed and nicely decorated. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and made our stay all the better. And the breakfast was excellent!
The perfect place to stay for a visit to Lyme Regis and its spectacular surroundings. Comfortable rooms with all amenities, superb location right in the centre and on the beach, and a real country pub with delicious food and an ample selection of beers and wines. The staff was friendly, helpful, professional and went out of their way make my stay unforgettable. Most highly recommended!!
The Jolly Lodge is a wonderful stay in Lyme Regis, we really appreciated the personal touches from the host. The facilities were more than we expected and everything was up to a really high standard. Clean, warm, stylish, with a stunning view of the sea, and lovely natural surroundings. We wished we could have stayed longer!
Fernhill really is a quintessentially British hotel. The location is the perfect spot, set into the quiet countryside but only a short walk into the hustle and bustle of the beach. Jo and her staff were incredibly accomodating and made our stay easy and very enjoyable. I would highly recommend staying here.
The friendly welcome of a drink and homemade cake was most welcome after a long drive to the location.
Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was good and the courtesy tray in our room was well stocked.
THe hotel was central and we were able to tour on foot around Lyme Regis.
The location is second to none and the views are amazing! The home was exceptionally comfortable and welcoming. We were met by Gail when we arrived, who was ever so gracious welcoming us to Lyme Regis and the home. We will absolutely stay here should we ever return to Lyme Regis!
The warmest of welcomes greets you at this lovely country house hotel Room comfortable (although ours was rather small). Great breakfast but no evening meals available. Lovely grounds for our 4 legged friend and very convenient for the delights of Lyme Regis.
Beautiful clean and comfortable cottage and lovely to be able to take your 4 legged friend as well such a lovely place and so dog friendly loved everything would defo.go again.Cannot fault the cottage everthing you need is there.5 star rating 😊
Great small hotel - has its own car park which is a major plus in Lyme Regis. Bit of a steep walk up from town, but the views make up for it. spectacular views from both windows in our room. Coast and sea. Big gardenn with views too.
Lovely hotel in quiet location close to but outside Lyme Regis. Room and bathroom were excellent and the grounds of the hotel with pool were beautiful. We felt cared for by hosts who were helpful with a personal touch.
ROOM WAS GOOD. BREAKFAST VERY NICE, AND LARGE! HOTEL WAS AT THE TOP OF A STEEP HILL, BUT MOST OF LYME REGIS IS UP A HILL! QUITE A STRENUOUS WALK BACK UP FROM THE BEACH. BEACHFRONT WAS LOVELY AND FLAT ONCE YOU GOT THERE
Homely, comfortable and well equipped apartment, a short walk from the centre of Lyme Regis. The hosts have thought of everything to make you feel at home, with flowers on the table and a welcome cream tea.
The parking space was appreciated given the difficulties of parking in Lyme Regis. A lovely, quirky apartment with all the little things that one might need supplied e.g. sugar, salt, pepper, clingfilm...
Great location, quirky flat with character, comfortable bed and nice and clean. Everything that needed for my stay. Also very near to nice park/gardens to exercise my dog. Lyme regis very dog friendly!!
Perfectly located in the heart of Lyme Regis. Beautifully decorated throughout. Awesome shower and lovely and private accommodation. Easy to find and park and access was easy (key box).
