You need the weather to stay on Gower and we were lucky. Llangennith is only a small village so it's really all about Rhossili beach and walking in that area which doesn't disappoint! Everyone we met was so friendly and couldn't do enough to help.

A charming village with stunning views of the sea and the Welsh Hills. the Kings Head is a lovely place to spend a few days. The food and the service are excellent and the staff are charming and helpful. We were lucky enough to experience warm sunshine for the three days that we stayed but I think it would still be lovely in the winter. A place that we will return to

Always a pleasure to stay in this lovely little seaside village, you can walk to 2 amazing beaches within 20-30 minutes and then sit and enjoy the sunshine (and showers!) or continue your walk over the dunes and cliffs to Blue Pool and beyond. If you fancy a challenge climb Llangenith hill and take a walk along he causeway (tidal times to be observed at all times) over to the Worms head from Rhossili.

A charming and sleepy backwater of a place, with a surf school and one hotel (I'm guessing a lot less sleepy in peak season though!). There is an ancient church and the terrace outside the King's Head has an amazing view over this with the green slope of Rhossili Down as the backdrop, and the sea just visible to the West. It's a two-mile walk or drive to the Rhossili beach - the opposite end of it from Rhossili village - and easy access to the Down for an amazing walk over the hills to Rhossili in one direction and the beach in the other. And there's another quiet bay with an island, possibly even closer than Rhossili sands. The parking at Rhossili beach currently costs £6.

Stunning location almost at the end of the road with only the beach and a caravan site beyond. The village has the pub, a surf shop and a pretty church. There are plenty of stunning walks from the village and Rhossili is just along the Gower Way.

The location. The views. The landscape.

The location. The views. The landscape. Having the sheep visit the pub. The close proximity to the beach. The breakfast exceeded my expectation. Pint of Gower Gold. It's our 4th time here but first staying at Kings Head Inn. We will be back

Loved the location, perfect for taking a short drive to hillend car park (£5 for the day) and going the beautiful walk from llangennith to rhossili bay along the beach. The room was lovely and the bed 10/10 comfort - much needed after long walks! Dafydd very helpful in providing us with ironing board and bottle opener! He also provided us with bowls as we didn't want to pay the additional charge for breakfast (£12 per person) so we had brought our own cereal.

We have food allergies and they were completely accommodating and understanding of the issues. Food was excellent in very generous portions

Right next to their pub which has incredible views, we also visited Broughton Bay Blue Pool and the beach near Spaniards Rocks just a few minutes drive to the trail away. Comfortable room, easy access with the keycodes which is especially convenient if youre checking in later.

Fabulous hotel stayed hear a few times over the years. Staff are very friendly, parking isn't an issue and the food, drinks and roaring fire are just what you need after a long, wet walk on a winters day. I love the fact that dogs are also welcomed. A real bonus for us.

The town of Llangennith is gorgeous and the King's Head Inn had a lovely view of the town. The staff were friendly and gave us helpful tips about walking on the hiking paths. I was sad to leave when our stay was over because everything was perfect.
