Hosts fantastic - really friendly and helpful. Suzanne's care and attention to detail is brilliant. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the recommendation to pop to the pub just two doors away for supper was genius as it was great.

Really lovely property and size. Had everything we needed including a log burning stove. Bonus was the new lambs in the field out of the windows which we could have watched for ages!
Also incredibly dog friendly. Had a lovely welcome hamper for humans but also a dog welcome treat bag. All topped off my lovely hosts who were incredibly friendly

The room was excellent, large and well resourced though a ½ bottle of champagne is mean as is two tea bags and one dressing gown (for two guests). Very good and spacious bathroom

Dinner was excellent, Cornish breakfast was fine but poached eggs on toast by definition should mean more than one slice of toast and one poached egg I would have thought.

From arrival to departure everything was superb. Louise is a 'tour-de-force'! Her attention to detail is second to none from the stunning, luxurious decor and amenities to the fantastic home- cooked evening meal and scrumptious breakfast. Greg also went out of his way to make this a five-star stay!

Lovely freshly prepared breakfast in a great breakfast room, bedroom was excellent and spacious bathroom. Attention to detail and cleanliness was fantastic.
A relaxing country setting with friendly and helpful staff.
A relaxing country setting with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was outstanding and the perfect way to start the day. My room facing the front of the hotel was quite noisy, with traffic passing early in the morning, which was surprising considering the rural location. Take ear plugs with you and you’ll be fine.
Dog poo on the lawn in the garden was a definite low point especially as I had my young granddaughter with me. Dog owners please take note and clean up after your pet.
Initially looking for two hotel rooms and Little Bere appeared on the listings. It seemed a good value option on the booking site and in reality completely exceeded our expectations. It was a well equipped and tastefully decorated two bedroom flat. Although we picked the location for convenience to meet a friend it proved to be a very central location touring out to the N and S coast. Need to find an excuse to go back now.
P.S Don't forget to check the fridge loaded with a welcoming pack of local scones, cream and jam
We have stayed here before and as my family live in Lifton it is a very convenient base for us to use.
The river side location is very quiet and picturesque, we often stay out of season so have not really used the outside very much but in summer it is a lovely place to sit.
The quality of the hotel has been upgrade to an excellent standard, and very clean. All that you would require, and well heated. Very little you could improve, perhaps a television, if you need a news fix take your iPad, you will need WiFi, as local signal poor,
Very nice dinner, staff, room was exceptional.
It was the single most pleasant hotel experience I had in the past 3.5 years of international work travel.
I would stay here again on my own accord.
Everything and anything was perfect, lovely clean spacious room, delicious breakfast and friendly welcoming staff. I cannot recommend this lovely little hotel enough!
Excellent hotel in a very good location very comfortable, super staff, the food was excellent.
The hotel is furnished very individually and tastefully.
