The village has one pub but otherwise does not have a lot to offer. However there are some very good country walks and it is idealy located for getting around Constable country and visiting Colchester and Lavenham.PeterGermany

I especially enjoyed the food and service in the restaurant, it was delicious and the staff were very attentive. Although I only used the pool area, the wider fitness centre looked good. The facilities at the hotel are wide ranging. Parking was easy. I understand it has a great golf course too...but I don't play.RichardUnited Kingdom

Although I had a couple of treatments which were excellent. No robes for hotel guests, only those on a spa break wasn't very good either. Also reserved beds in the spa for those on a spa break meant that hotel guests had very few to go round.
