We recently had the pleasure of staying at a retreat that offered accommodation and a spiritual meditation session with Tanya. We must say that our experience was nothing short of amazing. The accommodation was cozy and comfortable, and the atmosphere of the retreat was serene and calming.
The real highlight of our stay, however, was the meditation session with Tanya. Her guided meditation was truly transformative and left us feeling refreshed, centred, and at peace. Tanya's gentle and calming voice, combined with her deep knowledge of spiritual practices, made the session unforgettable.
Overall, I highly recommend this retreat to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway. The accommodation is top-notch, and Tanya's meditation session is an absolute must-try. It's an experience that I will cherish for a long time to come.

Friendly landlord offered me coffee upon arrival after long solo drive. The room had fresh coffee and cafetière. Bath most welcome to unwind and soothe aches after 3 hour drive. The purpose of the visit was to attend a wedding in a nearby village.

We didn't get to spend much time in Hindon but the neighborhood we were in was very lovely. We walked around a bit after we checked in, before we sat down for dinner. We didn't have a chance to go into any shops as it was late when we arrived but we very much enjoyed our stroll around the area.

Such a lovely quiet village, conveniently close to the A303 and the perfect distance for us when travelling up or down country from home in the West Country. We stayed in the Grosvenor Arms which was fabulous in every respect.

There was a book about the history of Hindon in our room, written by a local historian. It was so interesting we bought a copy! Although Hindon is very small it is a place that has been a crossroads of history. I would have liked to have time for a wander round.

I would definitely recommend the Lamb Inn!
I would definitely recommend the Lamb Inn! My husband and I loved our room with the patio out back for our morning coffee. Everything was perfect and I would book again if I ever get back to jolly old England!
Appart from Bernice the other members of staff did their best to help us. Think they knew how bad the service we had encountered from the booking to the actual stay. Some guests were given free breakfast on the Sunday as a token of goodwill due to the many problems encountered. However not everyone knew about it!
The groom was rushed into hospital the evening following the wedding with appendicitis. The cleaner was very helpful with the ambulance service. The hotel allowed the bride an extension on booking out of the room. Thankyou for that.
Lovely appointed and clean hotel. The staff have thought of everything. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. Lovely en-suite with high quality toiletries. The food, both dinner and breakfast, was excellent and very good value for money. Great place to stay in really nice area and close to some lovely attractions
Apart from Bernice the staff were friendly.
Breakfast was good.
Helpful cleaner when an ambulance had to be called when the groom was rushed in with appendicitis on the Sunday night. Also the hotel extended the booking out of the room on the Monday.
The staff were exemplary, the food delicious and the location great. Home made cookies and fresh milk in the room was appreciated. Do note this is a pub and not a hotel so expect some noise from the bar area below.
It was lovely to have air conditioning even though a charming old hotel. The room was large and well furnished with quality old furniture ( in keeping with style) and smart decor. The bed was super comfortable!
A tastefully newly decorated pub hotel. Very friendly staff. Delicious breakfast with quality coffee. Very close to the Tisbury Farm wedding venue where we attended a lovely wedding.
breakfast was excellent both in quantity and quality.
room perfect for our requirements
Hindon is a very attractive village and location is excellent for local exploration
Excellent country inn, great food, including breakfast - better than most 4 and 5 hotels I stay in! beautiful location, friendly staff and excellently run.
