Lovely hotel in a nice little village. Rooms are a good size and decent size. Dinner was tasty with plenty of options.

Beautiful homestead setting that backs onto an active farm. The shared kitchen and dining was kept immaculate and faces a barn where you can hear the cows in the evening! Location is perfect for exploring The Peak District. Staff were all wonderful and helpful. Hot shower pressure was amazing and so welcome at the end of a day of walking/biking! Would 100% stay again. Wifi was weak at times, but was quite nice to disconnect and enjoy the surroundings.

The room was stunning. Our view was onto another building but it wasn't about that, the design, facilities and comfort of the room were stunning, we were blown away. The small touches like the dog bowls (even though we didn't have a dog with us, we are dog lovers and noticed them), the power show (wow!), the bed, just everything :)

This little gem is everything you could possibly want from a country pub. Warm comfortable rooms, amazing food and a roaring fire after a long day of walks in the countryside. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

Lovely quiet location and easy to find. Dog friendly and they meant it rather than just saying it. Locals were in with dogs as well as overnight guests and it was a really welcoming and friendly atmosphere. To top it off the food and beer selection were exceptional and the staff were attentive and really lovely people.
