We had a great dinner and breakfast the following morning. The bar/dining area is very pleasant - staff are welcoming and there are nice areas to have your dog with you without overwhelming other guests who may not have a dog.

Breakfast and evening meal were lovely. They had a few ‘building’ problems, such as door lock not working, blinds broken, coffee machine not working quite correctly. Room was a little cold, but worked out ok for the second night.i

Halstock was a lovely, sleepy village set in beautiful countryside. Not a lot to do, but great for a stopover on the way from Sussex to Cornwall. I was disappointed that the Haines Motor Museum was not open due to Covid19,

Beautiful village set in a rolling countryside with stunning views, an abundance of greenery and fresh air. The locals were very friendly. Lovely food at the Acorn Inn. Plenty of country walks and the stunning beaches are a short drive.
