Hi, the rooms smelt a little musky/damp.
The food prices were fairly expensive however the actually quality and portion size was not value for money. We stayed elsewhere and paid similar prices however the food quality and portion size was relative to the price paid.
My wife paid for adult pasta however this was smaller if not just the same as child portion! We will not be booking here again I am afraid.

The hotel was lovely we paid extra to upgrade but unfortunately the spa bath was to high and as we are pensioners this was no good a shame really as it was something we wanted in the room. Hotel apart from that was lovely and wish we had booked for an extra night. Food was lovely would definately recommend. Was a 5 minute walk to Gretna Gateway and althought this was a nice place to look around I found it hadnt really changed since i was there 12 years ago. All in all lovely nights stay. Breakfast was plentiful but there was only one waitress serving and our table was not cleared all the time we had breakfast we felt sorry for the waitress as she was run off her feet so maybe an extra person would of helped. Would stay again though

We had a very warm welcome by the friendly staff, the room was beautiful we stayed 2 nights not consecutive but both rooms were equally lovely extremely clean and comfortable. We would recommend this hotel to everyone
Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Hotel is clean and we'll presented. Our room was fantastic, very comfortable bed in a large room, with a sofa and armchairs and a table, very comfortable. Everything spotless and we'll presented. We ate in the restaurant and the food was good quality and we'll presented. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Cooked breakfast was lovely and plenty to eat. I would definitely stay again and can recommend to others
The hotel upgraded us on our last night in Scotland to the Romeo and Juliet room. It was a wonderful way to end our 40th Wedding Anniversary trip to Scotland! We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel both were great. We loved the old pictures of when Gretna was the "Las Vegas" of the old days. We also enjoyed the modern pictures or all the weddings at Gretna Chase.
Last hotel in England just off the M6 so easy to get to, ample parking at rear of hotel. Hotel is well kept with marvellous décor from times gone by, clean and tidy rooms, staff are super efficient and very friendly. The food was great, both evening meal and breakfast were delicious, wide range of drinks at the well stocked bar.
Spotlessly clean and has everything you would need to self cater. The location is excellent, being right next to the train station and a very short walk to the Gretna Hall Hotel. Very friendly owners. The welcome pack of milk, juice butter etc was a nice surprise.
lovely room with plenty of drawer and cupboard space and excellent en suite shower room. I was intrigued by having two wash hand basins in the same bathroom! Is it a Gretna tradition? Helpful, courteous staff and good food.
The location to Gretna Green was ideal for us. The house was a nice size and cozy.
The complimentary treats were a nice touch and also the dog box with towels and poo bags was also very considerate and helpful.
The staff were so nice & helpful, our room amazing they upgraded us to a honeymoon suite beautiful. The food was fab-u-lus what a bargain. My new favourite hotel 😚
