A lovely location overlooking the loch. This is a quirky inn and the evening meal in the restaurant was very good, we chose the fish stew. Our bedroom was small which we knew in advance but very well presented and clean

I stayed for one night on an unplanned visit due to not being able to get home to South Skye as a result of a serious traffic collision that closed the road. My husband booked it (which is why the review is by Douglas!) We have lived on Skye for almost 20 years and have never been down the track to this hotel. I loved it. Even though we live on one of the most beautiful islands in the world, I want to come back and stay again.

What a wonderful setting for our stay on the Isle of Skye! The room was clean, a very comfortable size with two padded chairs and table, had a beautiful view of the ocean, and was quiet! We also had access to a separate "reading-morning" room. Large dining room view of an unnamed Loch. The continental breakfast was pleasant with a variety of food, including coffee, tea, and juice. Staff so friendly. Our springtime visit (end of April) provided an opportunity to see a lot of lambs and an otter pair. Parking great.

The hotel staff were fantastic !!! We had such a great time whilst staying their, nothing was too much trouble and we couldn’t praise this place enough. Off the beaten track ( a little) and offers excellent views of the loch. This real was an amazing place to stay especially if you are visiting Skye to see Kilt Rock, the Old Mann of Stor, the fairy pools or Portree.

Topped up with great breakfast, a bar, a stunning sea view, remote location, a beautiful big room, comfortable bed, super clean bathroom, good Wifi in the room - all these definitely makes us want to stay at Redwood House again.
