The farmhouse is a stunning house with beautiful views of the castle and gardens. It could not be more conveniently located if you have come to see the castle and gardens and go hiking through the beautiful countryside. The hosts were very kind and friendly and the breakfast was also nice with a wide selection (although we were surprised that our neighbouring table was offered alternative milk options and sour dough bread) which we did not know were available to my lactose intolerant son. I suppose we were supposed to ask for it? Nevertheless, that aside, the complimentary afternoon cream tea with cake accompaniment was also delightful and very delish! The rooms were very pleasant although as we were on the very top floor, just as something to note, we did not have the pleasure of the high ceilings as in the rest of the house and you do have to go up a flight of stairs if you are disabled. However we did have lovely views and bright rooms. Also the bathroom sink is a bit tiny so you need to throw down the bath mat if you don't want to get the whole floor wet. All in all it was a very nice stay . The best part is the beautiful building and location.

Having read a number of reviews I was reserving my judgment but I must say the owners were lovely and the site is beautiful. There is a strict no music policy after 22:30 so if you want to come for a party night this isn’t the place for you but of you want a chilled night away with a few bottles I couldn’t recommend enough.
The property was clean and tidy. We had a lovely chat with the host on arrival and sorted out what we wanted to do that evening. Despite rain we got up early and went for a walk on the road heading toward Goudhurst listening to the birds and watching the rabbits and deer. E then had homemade muesli, and our wonderful cooked breakfast arrived exactly when we asked for it. The bedroom and living area were perfect for our overnight stay before travelling on to Gatwick (40 mins away) the following morning.
The hotel was lovely, staff really friendly and they went beyond to help me with some requests which I appreciated. Room was beautiful and very spacious. The one thing I did not like was that I could not turn the towel rail off and I have a problem with heat but at least I could open the window fully which helped. The breakfast was really good.
Lovely old fashioned hotel. The staff were so polite, friendly and welcoming, made us both feel very comfortable during our stay when I proposed to my girlfriend and laid the room beautifully. The food was also excellent. Highly recommend
An old inn, full of character, that has been modernised on the outskirts of Goudhurst. It's very nicely done. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious and bright and the bed comfy. Breakfast was a highlight!
Very friendly hotel, comfortable bed , excellent breakfast and very attentive and cheerful staff. Very dog friendly which makes all the difference when you have your pets with you.
We had a lovely night's stay at the Goudhurst Inn. Went with my partner and young dog. Beautiful, accomodations, very pet friendly. Great pub, great food and drink.
