The apartment was very comfortable, clean and well-equipped. The kitchen area is basic (two burner hob, no oven( but well-equipped within its limitations and sufficient for all everyday needs with a microwave, small fridge and good provision of pots and pans etc.- there's a lovely great big old dresser with copious quantities of crockery and cutlery.
The owner lives in the same building and was on hand to greet us. He was great at helping us deal with storing bikes safely and the apartment was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The local pub was mere steps from the door for a convenient pint and dinner. Towels, toiletries and hair-dryer all at hand.
In the heart of the charming market town, The Golden Lion at Settle dates from the 17th century and offers a bar, an elegant restaurant, and free Wi-Fi in public areas.
