Needs more info on parking facilities for guests.

Needs more info on parking facilities for guests. We managed to park across the road from the pub but weren't sure if we could park outside the rooms or not. Breakfast was disappointing in the pub. Wished we had had more time to check out the area but our ferry was delayed so we arrived late. To their credit the chef waiting for us to arrive so we could have an evening meal though.

The Anchor was clean and welcoming. the staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Food was tasty and freshly cooked. We did not bother to go anywhere else to eat. It is a good location for exploring the area around Loch Lomond.

I enjoyed the road from Tarbet to Garelochhead and our stay at the Anchor Inn. The spot may not be the nicest but our evening/night was really nice staying at the Anchor Inn after a good walk in the Highlands.

Garelochhead is not a place you would think of as being suitable for tourism, but it is nice and quiet despite there being a naval base close by. It is ideally located for exploring the wonderful Scottish countryside.

Fantastic welcome from wonderfully friendly and attentive staff. Bar area is very stylish and comfortable. Had an evening meal that was excellent quality and value. My room was compact but very nicely decorated and comfortable. I was looking out on to back of hotel but it was quiet (November) and I didn't have any noise from beer garden. Comfortable bed with good bedding. Good electric shower. Fantastic cooked breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

Solid little hotel with clean comfortable room and good facilities. Food in the bar/restaurant is very good, plentiful and good value. What elevated this good stay for us was the staff and the service. Chris and his team were outstandingly helpful, cheerful, attentive and charming. People like that make such a difference.

We chose this place because of the location. Garelochhead is situated near Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, and also ideal to make walks arround Loch Long and Loch Goil. The room was quite small, but quiet. We had breakfast and dinner in the Inn and it was ok. The staff was very friendly and helpfull

Brilliant in every way. Was lovely to be out the way for a while to relax in peace and comfort. Very close to the water, a few takeaways in the area and ashtrays provided in the grounds for smokers. Very thoughtful hotel.

Cheapest option we could find in the area. We booked it for the value and weren't disappointed, but don't expect anything of the hotel itself or the town. Decent hub for hiking trips nearby.
