I went up for a job interview and fell in love with the views which were breathtaking. The people were polite and welcoming on the whole. The food was good when we had dinner or lunch outside the hotel.

Fort William as a town needs investment, depending on why you are there I suppose would change your opinion.
Ben nevis 10 mins away, beautiful loch on doorstep fishing , climbing walking, down hill cycling, ski ing, diving all plus points.
Night time especially week night useless.
Morar and Mallaig to the North beautiful and in summer amazing beach at Morar.
If you are there for hobby or sport great base camp, if you are a tourist and like entertainment at night during the week go somewhere else.

Fort William was as nice as usual however please note certain businesses are only open during tourist season. We also enjoyed filling up on the gondolas at Nevis Range. I must say though, try and avoid Caledonia hotel. The toilet was like what you get in a nursery and my private parts in the water. Carpet threadbare, wallpaper coming off the walls due to dampness, a very uncomfortable bed, adjoining door that we were not made aware of. Electricity was off on arrival and due to my dust allergies and at 3pm the room had not been cleaned, we left and checked in later. There was still dirt in the room and at the top of the bed, I caughed thru the night both nights. When it rained you could hear a loud drip from within the wall cavity. I'm not a confrontational person and didn't feel comfortable bringing the issues up with reception, so just be warned. The lift was out of order too. Beware room 220!!! Such shame being a brilliant location .

Fort William is a nice little town very well located.
Fort William is a nice little town very well located. It's ten minutes away from Ben Nevis and 45mn from Glencoe ski resort. Before that, you have all the Glencoe mountains to explore. There are still a lot to do during winter, even if snow sports are not an option due to lack of snow and/or high winds. You have the West Highland Museum, a brand new movie theatre, the Ben Nevis distillery, an indoor climbing centre, etc.

Fort William is beautiful and has lots of areas to check out within a short drive. A great place to stay and visit the Harry Potter sites (by car) plus the views are spectacular. We also enjoyed plenty of the bars and cafes and enjoyed a night at the local cinema too.

I was in Fort William for a special event but I have been many times before. It is easy to get around. There are lots of dog walking trails nearby. I like to go to Spean Bridge Woollen Mill. There is a nature reserve at nearby Glen Roy. We used it as a stop over travel to Mull. It is not far from Nevis Range Mountain Gondolas. There is plenty shopping within Fort William including retail parks.
The property is perched on top of a hill offering a nice view from our room window. The bathroom has been tastefully updated and comes with all the toiletries you can think of. Place is clean and towels fluffy. Iron and ironing board are in the room in case you need it. On top of getting refreshed and a good night's sleep in our well appointed room, the host also serves a made to order hot breakfast in the morning. For the price the host is charging, highly recommend if you are looking for accommodation in Fort William.
Great location between Loch Ness and Glenn Coe, so much nicer to stay here than staying in Fort WIlliam! We had a very good meal at the restaurant, just perfect after a long day in a quiet and layed back setting, and then just walked back to our conmfortable and quiet room for a long night before another eventful day.
Breakfast was very good as well and the breakfast lounge looks over the garden on a beautiful pink cherry blossom tree that was full bloom so it was a real delight.
I've stopped at the hotel before and it's a nice place to stay. It's handily placed in Fort William for the main street and other amenities. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the room was excellent! It was a good size and had a fantastically comfortable bed.
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for a deep clean due to a positive covid case. Breakfast was a continental breakfast which was ample. It's great value and i'd definitely stop there again.
Breakfast excellent. Room small but certainly adequate, and quiet. Location good -- scenic, and not a long walk to the High Street. Desk clerk Karen was a joy, especially after the horrid treatment we had in Oban at Glenburnie House. You have good reason to be proud of her. She represented Cruachan, Fort William and Scotland admirably. I do public travelogues on Scotland and I will recommend Cruachan.
The picture of the hotel looked very different to what was advertised. Corridors of the hotel looked very dated, however the room was clean although not cleaned on our second day, location good but you needed to drive into Fort William.
Bar staff a bit thin on the ground on the one night we had a drink there.
Hotel is situated at excellent location just off A82, which is the main road from Glasgow to Fort Williams. Hotel offers exceptional and cheap breakfast manu. Cocktail are also so cheap compare to London. Got a Chinese restaurant and a luxurious Indian dinning place right across the street. Superb
Definitely would recommend Muthu Fort William hotel! Great location, delicious food, good facilities and Staffs were really nice and lovely! Rose-ann,Jhan and Andrew were so hospitable and helpful that made our stay a comfortable and memorable one!😊 We will be back soon! 💯
I can compare our stay as that of a 3-star hotel. The staff were accommodating and friendly. They were able to provide suggestions to queries about Fort William. The house and room were very clean and smelled lovely, including the fresh flowers along the hallway.
The staff were happy to accommodate our request for twin beds instead of a double. The room and the bathroom were both clean, tidy and comfortable. Breakfast was decent, this hotel was what we needed for a short stay in Fort William.
Great and restful facility with ample parking. The host was very welcoming. We had the place to ourselves, so the kitchen and gathering room were a great place to relax. Good location in Fort William, especially for hiking Ben Nevis.
Easy access from the main road. Receptionist great. Very good intro to the hotel.
Got upgraded by hotel because we were there for our first anniversary. We'll worth it and to see Fort William. Then went to see Morar beeches.
Great Location just outside Fort William. Great layout to the hotel and everything fresh and new. Perfect location or base to visit the many attractions around Fort William. Breakfast and service was excellent.
It was perfect for a weekend stay in Fort William the beds were very comfortable and it was very clean with a great location. I would highly recommend it and we would definitely book again.
Booked due to a lack of other option in Fort William. A lovely location in front of the loch. Rooms we acceptable for a three star hotel, comfortable and clean. Good parking
The hotel is brand new, the room was perfect size and had everything you needed. It has been decorated so well, the bed is comfy and great location in Fort William.
