Gwbert Hotel, hotel in Cardigan

Incredible views across the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park can be enjoyed from Gwbert Hotel’s bistro.

Pretty much everything. Room with two window view of sea and estuary. Breakfast and service excellent. Plenty of choice and options. Literally can do whatever and however you wish. Evening meal was a little more than we are normally able to afford on a regular basis, but on the one evening we ate in the restaurant it was excellent and well worth it value for money wise. Eating and or drinking in the bar is very relaxed too. Service excellent and staff extremely helpful .

Cardigan has shops selling locally made arts and crafts. It also has a wonderful Italian restaurant called Mannuccis which had a fantastic gluten free menu. There are plenty of beautiful locations to visit nearby to Cardigan

Cardigan Castle disappointing, not much to see, may be of more interest to somebody wanting historical facts. To me a waste of time and money. Castle virtually non existent. Cardigan is a town that time has forgotten! For that it is pleasantly quaint. Nice cafes. Probably better on a fine day!

Quite a quaint town during the day but at night it does come alive especially the pubs. A really lovely range of shops and food places. A visit to the castle is a must. The best places are often the ones reccomended by locals. 2 days just wasn't enough for me, as just a little further out was glorious bays, beaches and mountains but more spectacular was the waterfalls

Beautiful area to stay despite the mixed weather. Went for a few walks on the coastal pathways which had breathtaking views. Cardigan was 10 minutes away by car. Enjoyed a lovely lunch at Crwst. This is a must for anyone visiting the area. Great pasta lunch at Berlotti's. A fairly good variety of shops in Cardigan. We also visited Theatre Mwldan during our stay to watch the latest Poirot film.

Not a great deal in the town and much is shut early in the week including restaurants and bars but there are some gems. The Copper Pot serves excellent food and the welcome at the Black Lion Hotel could not be warmer.

Beautiful accommodation in a lovely home and rooms just outside of Cardigan. Wonderful fresh cut up fruit is served with your breakfast. Hostess was lovely and very accommodating. We needed an earlier breakfast in order to catch the Poppit Rocket bus to hike a stretch of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. The approximate mile long road approaching the lodging is a typical narrow country lane (with turnouts) that can be a little nerve wracking for those not accustomed to narrow roads. This establishment is well worth the drive down to it.

Travelling through South Wales so only stayed one night but would return and recommend. Hotel is exceptionally beautiful, what a treat to find this place. Our room was stunning and I could have lived in the spacious bathroom! The bed was so comfortable. Everything was clean and fresh. The view amazing, overlooking the gardens. Beautifully prepared breakfast and locally sourced food in the dining room listening to relaxing music. A perfect base to visit Cardigan and some of the amazing beaches which are unspoiled.

What an excellent find. Only stayed one night as was touring and usually book hotels but Llety Teifi Guesthouse has restored my faith in B&B's. Great location, stunning house and rooms. Bathroom was superb and loved the heated bathroom mirror. The owners Gary and Sally could not do enough for us. Superb location close to the centre of town but our room was quiet. Will be back but will book more than one night so that we can explore the area more thoroughly. Superb highly recommended.

Central location in Cardigan town. There was no on-site parking but plenty of nearby carparks. The hotel is quite historic and therefore the rooms are a bit dated but fine - clean, tidy with adequate facilities for a one-night stay. The cooked breakfast the next day was plentiful with quality fresh ingredients: cereals and juice were also available. I didn't eat in the restaurant but the menu looked reasonable in both choice and price.

Everything was great, nice hotel and pleasant staff. Our room was nice and cozy, clean and enough space for the two of us. We had view of the car park, but we didn't upgrade to a sea view so we got what we paid for. Breakfast was included which was very tasty and many options to chose from. Location of the property was lovely, with a beautiful seaside walk just across the road.

Truly stunning location with magnificent views over Cardigan Bay. The restaurant and bars face onto the views with lots of outside tables and seating too. The constantly changing light and weather make for ever-changing vistas. Huge room and bathroom. Super king-size bed which was very comfortable. Quick and efficient service in bars and restaurant. Easy parking.

The location is superb for town, yet was very quiet, even in the garden. The garden is lovely and has adequate privacy (great for yoga!). The cottage is very comfortable, relaxing and tastefully furnished. There was thorough information about the house, appliances, services and local area provided by the host in 2 well stocked files. Would definitely rebook.

The site was secure, safe and central to the town and West Wales with lovely views of the river. The room was beautifully furnished and finished. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was fascinating to stay somewhere with such a depth of history. Although the castle is in the centre of the town it is peaceful and private. It was a privilege to stay there.

Good location central to the Town and a good base to visit the area. Car park accessed via gated entrance was narrow so care needed. Accommodation was within Castle grounds in annexe to main building. Room was large with en-suite just as large, overlooking Castle garden. Breakfast in Castle cafe, friendly staff with views to river or castle grounds.

Hotel was in a great location, a short walk from Cardigan high street. We are happy to walk quite a while, so not only did we take a walk to Mnwt Beach )a couple of hours) we also walked to a restaurant in St Dogmaels (took about 40 mins). It was easy to get everywhere from the guest house. host was very friendly as well.

We really enjoyed our stay at Flambards. Very friendly helpful staff, comfortable room with a nice bathroom. Excellent meal at the restaurant, best we have had in Wales on holiday so far! Big parking area, and I just really liked this place - just five minute drive to Cardigan town centre.

Due to covid restrictions it is very difficult to give a reasonable opinion of the hotel. We missed the evening meal and it is a VERY quiet little village. Breakfast was fine as were the rooms. I've no reason not to go again when circumstances are better.
