The lady on reception was very polite and helpful and very accommodating, I travelled with 2 children for a dance competition, room was clean and comfortable and definitely good value for money.

Charming stay in the middle of the countryside. It is located on a farm and was surprisingly super quiet, didn't even hear the chickens in the morning. The farm house is very cute and the room was lovely and very comfortable. High thread cunt sheets and great fluffy pillows. The room also had tea/coffee and some gin for a night cap. The bathroom was lovely too with a free standing bath, the shower didn't have much power but if i had more time, would have tried the lovely bath. The bed was also very comfortable and everything very clean and well looked after. Sandra, the host was really lovely and helpful. She put on a beautiful breakfast spread which was delicious, what a a great choice and an extra bonus to eat while watching the horses! We had an event in Fawsley Hall a few miles away but happy we managed to find this little place to come back to after. A really lovely little country stay, thank you!

The young staff were perfect but there was no organisation really, no one in charge to organize. They were over worked and probably under paid for the hours they put in. They were ***** 5.
We originally went for 2 nights but actually stayed for 4 nights but the place ran out of foods etc on the third night. Breakfast stated 2 sausages for breakfast but after 1st day you only got one with no mushrooms or toast.
The Tapas meal was brilliant but was served raw steak and dry mac & cheese (microwaved) and chips which were not chips at all. The cheese board 1st night good but then no blue cheese and micro sliced portion of ordinary cheese.
Our room was ok but no view at all apart from a bit of the car park and the top of trees.

Very disappointing, food not good, evening menu needs a speacials board, something freshly made, seems the food we had was out of a freezer to the plate. Breakfast was a nightmare waited 1 hour 8 mins for a very average luke warm full english. Bar prices very high. Staff too young and untrained would definately not recommend

Food and drink ran out I was told by staff that this was because the brewery were owed money, the owner was in debt and hadn’t paid the bills. Because the brewery and suppliers hadn’t been paid staff were unable to reorder drink or food.
Nevertheless, Despite poor management staff worked very hard to make my stay as comfortable as possible. This hotel should be removed from booking.com until management is secure and the hotel can function again as a proper hotel rather than like a carry on movie

This hotel has changed ownership since I last visited.
This will be my last visit.
Restaurant menu poor, food OK and large portions.
Everywhere maintenance is needed. It looks scruffy and neglected.
Breakfast menu quite adventurous but moderated by low temperature food, cheap cutlery and furniture from a jumble sale.
Staff were trying but there were too few.
Our room was in the building adjacent to the hotel and was clean and very comfortable. The village is quaint and very quiet, no noisy traffic or late night revelry.
We had several evening meals which were enjoyable and a credit to the chef.
The staff were all very helpful, the ethos of the hotel was of a happy and welcoming place to stay.
The Manager was very friendly and accommodating and upgraded my room which I appreciated. One of the staff dealt with the problem I had with the hotel Wifi and managed to get it to work for me which was essential during those two days. I enjoyed the fresh fruit and natural yogurt for breakfast.
as with my job, I have to stop at a lot of hotels, but this one has raised the bar, it must be the BEST ONE I have been to .!!!!
From the minute, we got there to us leaving the code not do enough for us.I would recommend this one to everyone ......100%
the hotel and public house is charming, great staff and a great breakfast well worth saving yourself for Lewis cooked an amazing breakfast. chelsey behind the bar was brilliant and Laura when we arrived was very welcoming a great team .
Nice comfortable room. This hotel is in a lovely quiet, pretty village. Receptionist was friendly and helpful even though they were clearly short of staff and busy.
