Clean, well appointed room but very hot due to unusual weather conditions. Dinner menu unexceptional and wine list fairly basic. Friendly staff and a very relaxing atmosphere.

The cottage was perfect for our one night stay. My mum & Dad have limited mobility & it was perfect being on one level with a rail in the big walk in shower.

We had family in Amesbury to visit so perfect for us and still handy to Salisbury and bus to London. My brother liked the pubs and the bakery was very good. You would need a car to explore surrounding area though and there was plenty to see

Access to Stonehenge was so quick and easy.

Access to Stonehenge was so quick and easy. We could have spent another day exploring the area (other ancient forts and circles) and trying other places to eat in the town. There were 3 grocery stores - a great place to replenish your supplies. The bakery in town is first rate!!

    Absolutely disappointing!!!!

Absolutely disappointing!!!! room a sham of broken furniture, stained seating chair, curtain rail that fell on you drawing curtains.... too much limescale on shower taps. Shower curtain dirty, skirting boards never been touched for months and NO CHEF!!!!!! after a 6 hr journey all we wanted was to freshen up and have a meal (as advertised) seemingly they've had no chef for over a year.... MISS ADVERTISEMENT! ...it wouldn't have mattered if alternative room was offered, sooooooooo disappointed, we just wanted to go home !

Amesbury is convenient for Salisbury, the Plain, the Artillery Centre, and Stonehenge. Well served with stores - there is an Aldi (rather hidden) and the adjacent Solstice Park has more stores. I always arrive early and have an excellent breakfast at the Friar Tuck Cafe. Plenty of car parking available. Eateries are not remarkable, but within a five mile range there are some very good pubs/restaurants.

Amesbury was a nice base to head out to Stonehenge from. There was plenty of nice looking pubs, and a few small shops. The people we met were friendly in town. The pizza restaurant serves great food and the staff there were excellent! The waiter went out of his way to talk to my 7 year old despite being busy.

STONEHENGE in the morning by sunset was wonderful and amazing in the evening. Woodhenge is also great and Avebury as well. Amesbury is an excellent place for the travel in a world 5000 years before today.

The apartment was beautifully decorated and little touches like tea, coffee and water were greatly appreciated. After a week of holiday hassle it was lovely to have some space and just relax. The host was readily available and responded promptly to any question. I will definitely be staying here again when I travel back to Stonehenge and would thoroughly recommend, and take friends along. If you are looking to stay near Stonehenge, book this place! Also had a wonderful meal in 'Piazza' in the town.

We enjoyed our stay in this inn. Spacious and convenient. There’s a restaurant onsite with a double deck bus playground for the kids, which is convenient and cool. You can take a drink while the kids play before bed. Good beers, cocktails not so much. No breakfast available, but they offer a discount to go to a nearby cafe, which we did and the food was great. Big free parking lot. Perfect for a short stay if you are visiting Stonehenge.

Very good hotel. Large, spacious room and very comfortable. A really nice breakfast and good, friendly service. As we were going to a wedding at 11:00am, the hotel agreed to keep our luggage and then put it into the room when the room was ready. A good location in Amesbury town centre, very close to the likes of Stonehenge and Salisbury

The newly refurbished hotel was decorated beautifully and our bedroom had a real feel of grandeur. We were very impressed with the finer details and additions to the room. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was cooked fresh and was very tasty.. I was shocked it was only a 3 * hotel.

By far the best place to stay in Amesbury. Big beautiful room with a huge bathroom. Very quiet location. Parking was easy to find - literally right next door. The continental breakfast box was lovely and it was a pleasant surprise to have a fridge in the room. Lots of thoughtful little touches. I will be back!

The location is amazing, so close to Stonehenge but also close to the centre of Amesbury. The hosts stocked everything we needed, including tea, coffee, hot chocolate and milk so we didn't have to worry on arrival. The folder of useful information was the best we've ever seen :-)

I really like the Antrobus. It is an old and used town hotel that has immense character. It is not the place to stay if you like new clinical type hotels, if that is what you want stay at the holiday Inn! Also the embedded Thai restaurant is excellent.
