The room was beautifully designed and furnished with a luxurious bath and comfortable bed. We had beautiful views from our room and enjoyed our evening at Hive across the road. We loved the complimentary drinks in the fridge, the thoughtful extras like the hairdryer (ghd), clothes steamer and phone chargers as well as the bathroom extras together with a complementary ice cream. So many thoughtful touches.

Hazeldene, hotel in Aberaeron

Offering a garden and quiet street view, Hazeldene is located in Aberaeron, 28 km from Aberystwyth Golf Club and 29 km from Clarach Bay.

Very clean, warm and comfortable. Responsive staff by email although they didn't return phone call after I left voicemail. Room slightly on small side, adequate for a night's sleep. Note this is not a B&B, even though it comes up as "Hazeldene B&B" both on booking.com and TripAdvisor. All the reviews mentioning a great breakfast were posted before business recently changed hands. Now it is a room rental service with remote keysafe system. There are no staff on site.

Aberaeron is a gorgeous Georgian seaside town in West Wales.

Aberaeron is a gorgeous Georgian seaside town in West Wales. It has great places to eat and great little shops to wander around. Two fabulous cafes for great coffee and food are Naturally Scrumptious and McCowans. Aberaeron has a fantastic book shop called 'Gwisgo' that sells both new and used books together with a wonderful selection of greeting cards. The owners are very knowledgeable and friendly and will help you pick out the perfect book for your reading needs! If you are knitter - Rosemary's Wool Shop is a great place to pick up a yarn project and get some expert advice and tips on any fiber arts related question. Aberaeron is on the Wales Coastal path and is a great place to start, finish or stop off for food on one's journey along the coastline of Wales.

Aberaeron was a lovely place to visit but all the very fine restaurants were very expensive but of course the food was so very good and we loved The Sellar the best wonderfull food. It did rain alot while we were there and became colder, all the people we met were very friendly, lovely place .

Aberaeron is a beautiful Georgian coastal town in West Wales. It is easy to walk around town and there are some great little shops, boutiques, cafes and restaurants. Naturally Scrumptious is a great place for coffee and pastries and Watson & Pratts is a wonderful organic food store. There is a beautiful walk from Aberaeron to Llanerchaeron - a National Trust property that is open to the public. You can also access The Wales Coast Path form Aberaeron which is a 870 mile trail that follows the coastline of Wales.

I've loved Aberaeron since a child and I still love the mix...

I've loved Aberaeron since a child and I still love the mix of the old traditional colourful buildings and (now) the 21st Century bars & dining. A great place if you like boats and harbours, with the most amazing views! The Ceredigion Coastal Path goes through Aberaeron and there are some stunning views on the path in the direction of New Quay. A good place to chill out with a good view, and maybe a good book. Lots of benches. Quiet. There is also a river walk (with benches). The Ice Cream at 'The Hive' is the best I've ever tasted! Amazing sunsets over the sea (in good weather). Maybe not the place for young people wanting a lot of night life, but perfect for us not so young who want to relax.

Most of the boxes were ticked for a hotel of this standard. We chose the deluxe room, primarily for the bathroom. I love a luxurious bath! I was very pleased with the choice of toiletries provided too -Molton Brown, very fancy! We chose this venue for the recommended seafood restaurant. Food was served in the bar area (we were made aware of this at booking, it being a winter month) It was perfect, overlooking the harbour - very picturesque and cosy. We had a delightful light lunch, served by a very attentive, knowledgeable young man.

This self catering accommodation Pod was clean and comfortable, the bed was comfy too and the location was ideal, just 5 mins from Aberaeron. We were pleased to find some tea, coffee and a pint of milk in the fridge which was great, we had forgotten to bring any! We bought fish and chips for dinner and sat outside where there was a table and chairs. Remember to follow the instructions on how to get to the pod from the main road, the turning is next to the bridge.

Excellent location, free parking lot across the street. Our room was compact but had everything we could need and more including the smallest fridge I’ve ever seen! The Alexa speaker was a great addition. The bed was comfortable, Wi-fi great and the breakfast is amazing. Staff very friendly & helpful. My husband and I were travelling in Wales and stayed in 7 different Guest Houses/Hotels. The Arosfa was one of our best choices.

Dave and Kerry were the perfect combination of sweet and professional. They have a quiet and clean B&B just outside the quaint seaside town of Aberaeron and really are the quintessential Mom and Pop shop. Kerry makes a splendid breakfast in the morning and also called around town to make dinner reservations for me. And Dave drove us to dinner and back just so I didn’t have to drive myself. It was quite a perfect place to stay.

haven’t stayed in the cottage before always in the hotel which we love. different experience in the self catering cottage but the location still lovely being only two doors down and great to have parking. we ate dinner at the restaurant and the food was excellent, and the two waiting staff were very friendly and happy to indulge my attempts at speaking Welsh which has always been a nice tradition at the Harbourmasters.

Everything. Aberaeron is a surprisingly expensive place to stay. Hazeldene guest house is a no frills, no restaurant, very convenient and comfortable place to stay. Excellent value accommodation. There's no Premier Inn nor Travelodge in the area but this matches those for a 2 night stay. That's what you get. If you want room service or an in-house restaurant then go elsewhere and pay more than double.
