We know the hotel and the restaurant for more than 40 years, so we knew that old-style place. Unfortunately we arrived on Sunday late afternoon and had to leave on Tuesday morning, so we could not eat in the restaurant. The hotel was so nice to inform us about this upfront. Amazin breakfast, beautiful rooms, gorgeous setting overall. We were just unfortunate to be there during a heatwave and no airco present, but that was not listed as a facility so not expected. My kids already asked to go back!
The Tourist Information office is good. There is plenty to see and do around the small town. We enjoyed walking along the river from the B&B to Verdun-sur-le-Doubs. As we were only staying 2 nights and en route elsewhere, we did not have the opportunity to see everything there was to see. We did drive to Baune one afternoon, which was very interesting and only a short distance away.
