We were en route from Geneva to Cherbourg in difficult winter conditions. Ver sur Mer was a little off the beaten track and given our time constraints and the weather we didn't explore the locality. With the new British Nornandy Memorial and other D-Day locations in the village there is great potential for British visitors but the only restaurant was not open - may be different in the summer season. attractive sea front but no facilities. As soon as we arrived we were sad we hadn't booked more than one night. The space is lovely and we were able to cook ourselves dinner and breakfast. It was incredibly peaceful and the private garden was stunning. There are shops a short walk away and it is a quick drive to the Juno Beach centre. Highly recommend!SarahCanada - 10Scored 10

We liked the self contained accommodation which was quiet and well equipped and even had a small fridge. We visited the museums at Arromanches, the Normandy landing beaches and Bayeux which took up most of our time as this was the purpose of our visit.GeorgeUnited Kingdom
