I loved the location of the hotel and the city of Versailles. We tried to eat at the restaurant but on two different nights the kitchen was already closed, one of which was our last night in France before heading back to the States. However, the bar was still open on our last night so we decided to have a couple of drinks. Last call was announced and our glasses were not empty but we asked if we could have one last drink (a glass of wine & a crown & 7) to take to our room but we were turned down by our bar tender. However, the other bar tender was pouring tequila shots for a single female with three men which seems a lot more riskier than a married couple going up to their room to pack.
This hotel is set in a characteristic Parisian building 1.6 mi from the Eiffel Tower, 2.3 mi from St Germain district and 2.5 mi from Montparnasse train station.

The location was decent. The staff was very courteous.
Located on the Left Bank in central Paris, this hotel exhibits photos, antiques and paintings celebrating the city’s important historic events. It provides an airport shuttle and a 24-hour front desk....

Location was great; served by 3 transit lines: M10 metro; buses 42 & 30; convenient travel to Eiffel Tour, Arc de Triomphe, & the Latin quarter; several close by restaurants with very good food; quiet safe neighborhood; reception staff spoke english & were very friendly; shower pressure was fantastic; instant hot water; excellent petite déjeuner — @ €6/person an excellent bargain;
The interior style felt like what I’d image was 1920s-30 Paris; soft jazz played in the background; the bar is stocked with top shelf single malt whisky like Lagavulin, Talisker, etc; only thing missing was Josephine Baker
