Good location. Historic building. Room adequate and happily on first floor. Breakfast could do better for e 9.5. We would have loved cleaning up the exterior of the building and making more of the wooden staircase serving all floors

Much nicer than it seemed as we approached - quiet, very comfortable, friendly and welcoming. Lovely helpful receptionist. Great location for walking our dog - close to stony beach and walking/ cycle route along coast. Generous breakfast.

The hotel location was very central which made navigating the town very easy.
The room was extremely clean and was of an adequate size.
Breakfast was amazing so much choice and very good value.
Although no parking facilities there was a large car park immediately behind the hotel which was free from 1700-0900. It was busy but seemed secure enough to leave the car overnight.

I arrived at the reception (without booking) quoted 140€ odd it was 9 pm and I asked if there was anything cheaper. No was the response, I left and booked online in my car within 3 minutes , then re entered the hotel and up to reception where I got my €76 room key. The young lady at reception was most unhelpful. I quizzed her as to why I was able to book a room on booking. Com to be told there must have been a cancellation. Tell us another.!!!
