(I am writing this for my friend Maureen for whom I booked this hotel for two nights)
This hotel has a fabulous location near a gorgeous and very old church and several restaurants and stores. It is only 10 rooms and it is one of a very few properties still hooked up to the Jonzac famous springs so you shower with the same water the thermes use for their treatments, basically. The owner, Rudolf is absolutely wonderful and does his very best to accommodate guests. There was a heat wave when I stayed and Rudolf kept the room dark and cool for me before my arrival and equipped the room with a big fan. That + opening the window when the night finally darkened and cooled ensured a good night sleep. The room was absolutely charming and spotless as was the rest of the hotel. This is just a delightful place to stay at and I look forward to visiting again when I return for my next cure. Thank you Rudolf for being so helpful!

Calm surroundings. Nice to walk and explore around. Apartment was clean but odd smell. Water park nearby is nice but busy and only one small water slide with a queue. 2 bedroom apartment had great size for family of 4 and long stay.

The owners, Catherine and Gerard have thought of everything to make their cottage welcoming and comfortable. They are attentive and warm - and speak English. The kitchen and bath were newly redesigned, the shower is huge with good water pressure, the bedrooms spacious, there is a lovely terrasse looking out on a small pond with transats and a sitting area. The kitchen is fully equipped.
Located in Soubran, this bed and breakfast is set on the wine route, in a 19th-century house characteristic of the Charente region.

The owner toldd us we booked a Booking.com room and I wouldn't fit into the bed of this room, we could arrange a different room, with a bed without a feetboard. We had to pay extra.
