The staff were friendly and efficient. The decor was stylish and unique. The food was delicious and the wine choice lengthy. The grounds were large and beautiful. The bed was possibly the most comfortable we have slept in!

The dining room was beautiful and, lit by lots of candles, had a lovely atmosphere for dinner. The meal was really tasty and quite adequate - and seconds were offered of the main course. Staff was welcoming and helpful, let alone the candle-lit dinner which topped the experience. We only booked Saint-Paterne almost randomly as we needed a break half-way through our trip. Now I'm afraid this might become a regular stop.

This is not a hotel stay, it's a whole experience! The first night, I stayed in an amazing historic room in the chateau, the second, out in the woods. The dinners and breakfasts were also great.
