Accepted our small dog no problem.
Breakfast was AMAZING! Such a huge choice of food and drinks.
Will definitely be staying again when travelling from UK to France…wish we had stayed an extra night and driven straight to Le Shuttle and not stayed in Calais where hotel was horrendous and same price!

At 1h30 from Paris, the Demeure de Campagne Chemins de Sologne presents itself as the house of a collector whose second passion is nature and its pleasures.
If it weren’t for Joan of Arc, Orléans may not have become the beautiful city it is today. The teenage heroine of France liberated the city during the Hundred Years War, a fact commemorated with a May festival and a statue of her on horseback in a large square (well, hexagon).
From Joan’s former house nearby, a road leads to Sainte-Croix Cathedral. Arriving from this direction, the cathedral appears somewhat overshadowed by terraced buildings, until you step out into its square and realise what an incredible structure it is.
To the north is the fine art museum and in the opposite direction are the shops, restaurants and bars of Rue de Bourgogne. Place du Châtelet houses more shops, overlooked by narrow half-timbered buildings. Just south, historic Georges V Bridge crosses the fast-flowing Loire River, connecting the historic centre with modern suburbs.
South of the river are the Parc des Expos and Zenith d’Orléans event centres, while further away is the Parc Floral de la Source – gardens centred on the source of the Loiret River. Even further south is the tranquil Sologne forest, while to the west the Loire passes many wonderful castles.
As well as Loire Valley accommodation, Booking.com offers luxury Orléans hotels, cheap B&Bs and apartments near the train station.

We were only in Orleans for one night after flying transatlantic into Paris. So we did not see much. We formed a positive impression though...the statue of Joan of Arc, the Cathedral, the shops and quaint, easily walkable historic district.

Orléans is a surprising small city, packed with history and home to Jeanne d’Arc. Beautiful city centre, very beautifully planned and executed urban redevelopment putting on focus historical features and yes the cathedral is just stunning. We stayed only a short overnight and were lucky to witness the late night light show pinned to the facade of the cathedral: just stunning. Beautiful pedestrian areas with medieval timber framed houses as well as glamorous arcades and squares. Will go back again!

From the U. S. and first time visiting France.
From the U. S. and first time visiting France. We were in Orleans for just one night. This hotel is in a great location to walk to the sights and pedestrian areas. The front desk staff were proactively helpful providing a map of the area and what is available.
The parking was in a courtyard and very safe. As extra bonus for this hotel, we asked for a bucket of ice and actually got a wine bucket with ice. I say this because at a hotel stay with different chain a couple nights prior we got a cereal bowl of ice.
Room was pristine and had AC. Temps have been about 80 and nights were not very cool to sleep at prior lodgings we were staying at.
Should we visit Orleans again we will stay at this hotel.
Really welcoming property lovely lobby area. Extremely dog friendly was given bowls by reception. The water machine and glass bottles in the lobby was great which meant we could have as much cold and sparkling water in the room. The bed was big and super comfy. The additional sofa bed was lovely and spacious especially when travelling with a dog. The rooms have been modernised and are tastefully decorated. We used this as an overnight pitstop whilst travelling in France so didn’t make use of the other facilities like the pool.
I, at first, was so shocked that the hotel used QR codes to gain entry into the rooms. But once I tried it out, it was so accommodating and easy! I felt very secure and the check-in process was very simple and quick. When I came early before check-in, I was able to leave my luggage in a locker, which made it easier to go out and about into the town. Definitely will come here again!
The breakfast was great and the staff who worked in the kitchen were amazing. The staff were always accommodating and kind to any request I had.
Exceptionally clean and confortable room, spacious and well equipped. The hotel is located along the Loire river, in a quiet and central location within Orléans. The Spa facility is offered for a 45 minutes privative use (upon reservation of a time slot): Jacuzzi, hammam and sauna for a relaxing moment. I further appreciated the friendliness and professionally of the staff. Exceptionally good breakfast.
Great location overlooking the Loire. Private parking out the back of the hotel.
For a hotel chain it did everything right, easy to find and park, beds comfortable, good shower, quiet, air con in room, got a good couple of night sleep.
Easy walk up into Orleans, great steak restaurant, loved seeing the trams.
Breakfast was good.
Good value stopover on our way home from the south of France, much more comfortable than the tiny rooms in the budget hotel we had stayed in on the way. Quiet neighbourhood apart from the children's playground over the road (but it was nice to hear kids out playing).
Excellent location in the old part of Orleans. Very helpful hosts who spoke excellent English. Large ground-floor flat in older building, with garden view, older style furniture Tour de France decor added character! Tea & coffee provided for my one-night stay.
I think that it would be impossible to find a better location in Orleans. We loved the view and the lively neighborhood. Great restaurants just outside the front door were a plus as well as access to the tram.
All went well. Ibis is a good example of network accomodations equal quality all around Europe. A bit dirty in comparison to other Ibis'es in other countries. France has stability for this.
Great, private location. Nice neighborhood. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Great parking situation which is a huge plus in France if you have a car. Really charming house.
Great location with secure garage parking and a cute little balcony. Great value for our stopover en route to Southern France. David was very informative but not overbearing.
Our 2 night stay in orleans was a great location for a stop over on route to south of France. Was within walking distance of city center.
It had everything you needed.
It was fabulous ; the location , kitchen and access to everything was amazing . Also they have been very helpful Thank you Orleans . We loved our hotel and the city
The location was great. There is a private parking. The staff was friendly. The bed was comfortable. Appropriate for one night when traveling in France.
