Unfortunately the restaurant was closed , chef taken ill and I guess only one chef for the whole hotel! which meant getting a very expensive cab both ways into La souteraine for dinner. Also the bathroom accessories, shampoo etc had all been used previously and were only half full.

I could have sat on the terrace all evening. Food was better excellent, than expected for a hotel of this price but the restaurant prices did match.
