The location was excellent for visiting the sites of the Loire. Just 13 km from Amboise. The garden and pool area were top class. We were fortunate with v good weather. The Gite itself was good, quite bijoux but enough for our 4 night stay. The village of Neuille le Lierre is small with a mixture of rustic and classic French architecture. V pleasant. The host was v friendly and informative about the property. Overall a super short stay.

Isabelle made us very welcome and was able to help us with an extended stay (our ferry booking had been cancelled). The bedroom was spacious with a great en-suite. She also spent some time chatting with us, which really helped us. There were nice little touches - like an aromatic herb bag in the wardrobe,
Breakfast was very nice with lovely home-made preserves, yoghurt and cake. The breakfast area also contained a huge range of brochures to help with the sightseeing and even a table football machine!
The location is extremely quiet - being in the middle of farmland with a 0.9km journey to the nearest road. That said, Amboise was c.15minutes away.

Hotel located in main square. Hotel does not do meals in the evening. Other restaurants all needed booking in advance. Very nice kebab takeaway nearby.
Breakfast was simple but fine. Orange Juice, plenty of coffee or tea croissant and bread. Choice of jams or honey.
Easy free parking in street.

This hotel is a hidden treasure. We were welcomed and treated with special attention. The rooms and the restaurant were royal, the attention to the details was at the highest. We loved every moment spent at this property and enjoyed very much the experience. This hotel is one of my favourite so far and I will definitely come back again.

The location was serene and the castle and grounds were absolutely beautiful. The owner and staff were lovely and we added night because our tween boys liked this place so much! We hope to come back again for a longer visit!

Staying at the Manoir is a unique experience because it is small(three rooms) and under the personal supervision of Pascal who provides an exceptional welcome and service. Dinner is provided in a dining room furnished and decorated appropriate to the history of the Manoir and you share the large table with any other guests who are dining. The meal was memorable for its quality, variety and for Pascal’s personal service. In our case we enjoyed our evening in the company of a delightful young Dutch couple.
Breakfast was another memorable experience for the brownies which Pascal produced.
Finally the Manoir can be reached quickly from exit 19 on the A10. Although deep in the countryside Apple Maps brought us there directly
