Lovely Lovely Lovely wonderful host. Better than a 7 Star hotel. He was so nice making us delicious dinner and welcoming us. Facility so comfortable and so clean. Excellent comfortable bed. Le Grand Saint Marc is an oasis of calm and heritage on the edge of Vendome, which is itself a fascinating historic town. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Our host was very kind and helpful. We will certainly return in the future as there is more in the area we want to see.

A unique experience living in an enormous cave but Arnaud and his family has done a remarkable job in fitting the whole place perfectly and professionally. Great kitchen; perfect plumbing in the bathroom; great electrics including lighting. Very spacious with sofa, dining table and big and comfortable bed. The view is beautiful; the village so peaceful. The hosts are so friendly and tried so hard to make us feel at home. Helped with luggage and advised us on what to see. Lots of tourist information provided as well.

We really enjoyed our stay. Such a treat for us to stay in a cave. Luc was a lovely host and was able to tell us so much about the area and sights to see nearby. We also really enjoyed our breakfast every morning, along with the surprise.

If you need somewhere to take a break from the stresses of life, this is a place worth staying at. A stunning B&B that is beautifully appointed and super clean. The bedroom was quiet and peaceful with a comfortable bed and a garden balcony with stunning gardens that is not overlooked. The hosts were amazing. So kind and attentive. They offered us dinner on the first night which was welcome after a long journey. Breakfast every morning was huge! With fresh eggs and traditional french foods. What a find this place was in the beautiful Loire Valley.
