It's a little rural French town near the Belgian border.
It's a little rural French town near the Belgian border. Either that tells you everything or that tells you nothing! If the latter, then I suspect it's probably not for you, but hey, what do I know? There's no nightlife to my knowledge, and precious little daylife. That was perfect for us :-) Lots of forests and lakes and cycle routes and not much traffic. But for the historically minded, there's a genuine antique (1920s?) petrol pump in the middle of town (although it's no longer in service).

The shower was really good and the bed was comfortable. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was good with plenty of choice.
