Very good breakfast, dinner and room service. The room was great with a proper big bed. Decorated nicely. Loved the hotel. Everything about it. We stayed 2 nights. Used as a hub to explore Rennes (Great city!) and Dinan. I wish we would have stayed longer. Best hotel of our 10 day trip in Brittany.

Clearly no expenses were spared in the renovation, but all period details were lovingly preserved. The hotel has a first rate gourmet restaurant and, though in the countryside, is only 20 minutes from the center of Rennes, which can be easily reached by taxi or Uber. The staff was also exceptionally friendly.

Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and well equipped. The hotel staff that we encountered were helpful and friendly. Best of all, the food in the restaurant here is outstanding. Such a better option than staying in one of the many chain hotels.

Our hotel room was in a different building which was fine, the room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we booked excursion tickets through them.
