Outstanding location. Nice apartment, comfortable generally and with a comfortable bed. A kitchen is available if you are organized enough to be able to use it. I would stay again.

Bigouden Makers, hotel in Le Guilvinec

Located in Pont-lʼAbbé and with Departmental Breton Museum reachable within 12 miles, Bigouden Makers has express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property...

We rented the duplex flat (so dedicated kitchen, not shared like some other rooms). The place was very cozy, comfortable, and well furnished. All the amenities (kettle, coffee machine, dishwasher, ...) made the stay really enjoyable. The place is located right in the middle of the city, making everything easily accessible on foot, while remaining very quiet thanks to the (very nice) yard between the building and the street. Parking outside proved not to be an issue. Outstanding place for a family stay.

Not the prettiest of towns, but a real and vibrant one with a large fishing fleet and many ancillary industries. The highlight was the return of the small fishing boats from 16.30 every day, and watching them unload their cargoes to the market. There is a facility called Haliotika where you can find out all about the fishing industry and its history, and be guided through the fish auction procedures. Restaurants in town mostly specialise in fish, obviously! Well worth a stay, because the town is a good base from which to explore the coast of the Pays Bigouden.

Fantastic restaurant food modern, served with skill and pride we highly recommend the hotel. Breakfast could have been better with more choice for money. We found the room excellent however the bed was too hard for us.
