We enjoyed sitting in the garden and dining with our very friendly host, who suggested we might enjoy a visit to Le Croisic and the surrounding salt marshes, and indeed we did when we visited the area the following day.

Fabulous place, warm welcome, host spent time chatting with us about the history of the place, amazing food, top notch on every level, so special to sleep in that opulent bedroom and look out over the beautiful grounds. Best place we've stayed in!

Nadine and Gwenael are exceptional hosts, they are so welcoming and accomodating. The house is amazing, so old but so well equipped with everything you may need! The site is full of history and at the same time modern, a weird yet so enjoyable mix. It was quite an experience for us, one you can only enjoy when in search of authenticity.

A really pretty little town in an incredibly scenic location. I used it as a one night stop on the way to Roscoff to catch a ferry and it proved a memorable night’s stop because of the character of the town. Give yourself lots of time to wander slowly around the town and port.

A lovely auberge in the centre. Quiet little square. Nice rooms. Breakfast was help yourself but quite adequate. The auberge restaurant quite expensive. But other restaurants close but. Town is closed on Mondays.

The location suited us - just an hour and a bit from Rennes and less than 20 minutes to get to some of the best beaches in south Brittany.
One of the drawbacks was that on Sunday and Monday nights most of the bars and restaurants in the old town were closed an we were lucky to get a table at Creperie du Port in the harbour.

We turned up on a Sunday night. It is not normal to start a stay on Sunday, however our host was very gracious and facilitated us with great willigness. This is a jewel of a traditional hotel, and we had a beautiful room waking uo to peels of church bells in the morning, and our window looked out on this ancient church. Beautiful, "classy" and most comfortable with big beds.We slept very well before a day with some big decisions to make. Excellent.
The hotel was exceptional- a beautiful, spacious room with a supremely comfortable and massive bed. The dining room was a tribute to French cuisine, served in the most professional manner. The continental breakfast was delightful.
The location was great, 5 mins from the busy N165. A ten minute walk down to the port or the old town (a little longer coming back up!) took in the old town square, with nice restaurant and friendly galleries.
The property is in a wonderful location on the beautiful Quai Saint Antoine. There are plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants within easy reach and supermarkets and boulangeries are not too far away. Julien, the property owner was present when we arrived and was helpful and very friendly. we had a wonderful stay in La Roche-Bernard and we heartily recommend the town and this particular property to anyone intending to visit the region.
Great hotel in fantastic location, disappointed that hotel restaurant was nit opened but Audrey made a good recommendation - the town has an boulangerie fog he best sandwiches & pastries - enjoy, we did & would return to the area, the restaurant should be open if accepting guests. September is still in season & very disappointing not to eat or have food where you are staying!
The hotel is a very relaxing place to stay which is only a short walk to the town, which is delightful and very pleasant to wander around in. The room was very well appointed with everything as it should be. The Continental breakfast was superb, very nice coffee from a machine, yogurt, fruit salad, cold meats, cheese, fresh bread all freshly prepared.
A delightful apartment in a truly superb location. La Roche-Bernard is a charming town and the apartment is located right at the town's beating heart - by the quayside on a creek of the River Vilaine, close to several of the town's excellent restaurants and bars and close to supermarkets and boulangeries. Parking is close by and convenient
We are easy to please because we know what we want and choose carefully. The hotel was excellent for us. We appreciate its charm, which comes naturally for french people, as well as the one which comes with hard work. And the setting of the hotel is picturesque on a medieval square. We loved our stay.
the location is perfect for la Roche-Bernard, very easy to find parking near to the house and most things within walking distance but then the roads to move around are easy to access from here
