The chef for our evening meal was terrific.
The chef for our evening meal was terrific. This maybe a good place for functions. I was there with a friend and found the stairs , bedroom passage and bedroom decor not worth the money in fact rather depressing.

The breakfast offered a good selection, and the dinners were superb, far better than we would have expected at a small hotel. We would definitely recommend eating in the restaurant even though there is a limited menu, Fergus is a first class cook. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area and will recommend it to our friends.

The Owner gladly washed our muddy cycling gear after a day of rain on the muddy towpath. Now that’s what you call service above and beyond the call of duty. Thanks, much appreciated.
