The hotel is a little dated but comfortable and in a good position very close to the pedestrianised centre of Dole. Our room and bathroom were a good size. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a simple breakfast in the bar of the hotel for €8. Because of roadworks the hotel’s parking was inaccessible but there is a public parking area across the road which is free. Spaces were in short supply but we managed to find parking there which was very convenient. We ate at Le Grévy, next door and had an excellent meal.

The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well situated with stunning views of the city. The added extra was the loft one level up where we had coffee. What a great place. Don't bring heavy or bulky luggage as you will climb 3 levels up in a narrow spiral staircase, but it's worth it.
