Damgan is a small, fairly quiet town with a small centre with some decent places to eat and useful shops. The beach is clean and the sand good, so it was busy, though it didn't feel overcrowded at all. We had good food in a couple of places in Damgan and Kervoyal. There are lots of holiday lets, but it doesn't feel overdeveloped at all. There's plenty to see and do nearby, Chateaux, bigger towns and so on, so it's a decent base for a holiday. The sea was very calm, so if you want big waves you need to go to Quiberon, which is an hour or so away. The town and so on felt like a safe place to take a family.

We loved morning tea and evening drinks watching the world go by. The restaurant is excellent, wonderful local food, excellent wine list and truly memorable views.
