This place is a little gem. I would rate it exceptional, but that would further distort Booking.Com's already broken review system. You can really only use "exceptional" for stunning world class hotels, but that's another issue.
But this hotel is really, really lovely, in a very understated way. It's perfectly maintained, perfectly clean, and is stylish. The staff and owners are friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good value for money. Swimming pool was spotless. It's one of those rare hotels where the combination of factors combine to make the whole much greater than the sum of the parts.
It's a 15 - 20 minute walk into town, but you can walk along the Rhone if you slip out the back and walk to the embankment. It's quiet. What's not to like? Well, finding it was tricky - the car park is in a dead end street with key code access, and there's absolutely no signage at the rear to indicate you are actually in the right place. Do some Google street view research - Google is correct. The hotel is signed at the front, but it is slightly tricky.

Arrived Sunday afternoon.asked foe disabled room which I was given but very poor standard. curtains hanging off window. We have stayed at Ibismany times before this .was the worst ever It was supposedly Ibis Styles. Not even as good as some budget Syyles we have stayed at.There was not any bar area for drinks The restaurant was. Very poor. Food awful staff miserable.
