The Town is famous for its Chateau and the National Anglo-Arab Stud Farm both are worth visiting - there are a few restaurants in town -they were good for regional cuisine. The area is beautiful, and would highly recommend visiting Segur-le-Château - one of France's Most Beautiful Villages -spectacular and has a great restaurant La Part des Anges that unfortunately was fully booked during my visit but I will make a reservation on my return.

We went to the races, cheap to get in and then no other charges for getting in the stand and got a spec right on the finish line. Took a while to get a hang of the betting but the clerk spoke a little English so got there in the end. It was not too busy and you can even take in all your own food and drink without any issues. All told a brilliant day out in a superb location just next to the palace.AAnonymousFrance

Staff are very welcoming and they serve FANTASTIC food at reasonable prices. The room was very nice and airy, high ceilings and big window. Lovely to hear the horses clip clopping past the window in the morning! I would have no hesitation in staying there next time we visit.

We were tired and needed a hotel, and the booking.com algorithm suggested this as a possibility. We kind of regretted that we had to continue, this place is so much more than just a road trip stop. The breakfast was exceptional and the garden is well worth an early morning stroll.
