Location, staff, cleanliness & facilities were all great! The room had a nice balcony and was dark enough.
Nowadays the breakfasts have actual change with far more plant-based & options, not just leaflets on tables advertising as in the past, but real food option changes with it.

In Lappeenranta, we particularly liked the harbor and the fortress. Otherwise, we mainly used the city as a starting point for trips and hikes along the shores of Lake Saimaa. Lappeenranta is ideally located for this. The environment is really beautiful.RalfGermany - 10Scored 10
There is something magical about Lappeenranta.
There is something magical about Lappeenranta. Such a beautiful place to spend summer. So much to do and see, yummy Finnish foods from the satama, loved the sandcastle sculptures. E-scooter rides were great fun and a visit to the market for fresh strawberries and peas is a must.Hanna - 10Scored 10

Lappeenranta is very beatiful and lovely city. Lake Saima and all around is very beatiful in summer time. All people are very nice. From here easy to access to Russia by train or bus. The hotels are very convinient. Must to see

The location is just great (city center, about 3-5 mins by walking to the shopping mall). It was also very easy to contact the host and receive the key. The apartments exceeded expectations: there was everything I needed for the comfortable stay, a lot of necessary supplies (for cooking, etc.) and very clean. During our stay, everything was still almost brand new, with the exception of some dust on the night stands and calcium deposits on the shower floor (but I think we can chalk that up to Covid reasons). Air conditioning was nice and strong, and everything worked smoothly, including car charging (incl. higher power charging) next to the hotel building.

What I needed was a place to sleep. I swam in lake Saimaa every morning before starting my working day. The location is beautiful. I chose this over centre hotel to have a chance to swim in the lake straight from bed. They had rental bikes available. Not very good ones, but worked for getting to centre swiftly.
