Fiskars is a very beatiful old town, full of the history of early Finnish industrial development. ALthough the place is small, there are a couple of nice hotels (Tegel and Wärdshuset), a micro-brewery which produces excellent beer and also natural wine, and a very attractive restaurant (Kuparipaja).

Amazing history and exceptional design skills.

Amazing history and exceptional design skills. Beautiful products from artisans but many Fiskar products made in China or other non indigenous areas are a put off. Be proud of what you do and do not make it in China! Make it in Finland, please!
