There are 2 supermarkets in the area, a fab pastry shop. A thrift shop across the road, although attended by drunk men it was quite an experience . A member of staff on the ferry did say Solares was where you went to drink and I think, except for the luxury hotel he was right. Lots of drunk older men around..JeanUnited Kingdom

Lovely grounds and external terraces around pool setting. Good to see a garden kitchen. This was a fantastic stopover on the way to Santander ferry port. Excellent restaurants. Will definitely be back. My dogs loved it too, the hotel had thoughtfully provided a dog bed each in the room. Absolutely wonderful stay.
