The location was very central with easy access to a lovely gazebo overlooking the Roman bridges over the river. We went to do stargazing and since it was a rural town near the gazebo was a very nice area to stargaze being not overwhelmed by city lighting. The whole town is very quiet and peaceful.

The property was in a beautiful location. The service was excellent and we had two wonderful dinners at the restaurant. The breakfast was also very good. The facilities seemed a little dated but the service and attitude of the workers made up for it. We could have stayed longer, thank you!!

I booked the hotel with trepidation at short notice and the wife was even more so. We could not have been more wrong. The room was spotless and well fitted. The evening meal was one of the best that I have had for a long time and so was the wine which was free. The staff were very good helping a non Spanish speaker through the menu. There was also a christening party for the whole village for interest

We loved our stay with Martin. The room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely terrace. The food that Martin prepared was excellent and he told us about where in the region different things came from. He also gave us helpful information about visiting Salamanca as well as our onward travel plans. We could not have asked for a better start to our road trip.
