The room was big and specious. Breakfast was very good also. Quiet location.
We are overall very satisfied with our stay at Hotel Arzuaga. The hotel's serene location amidst the picturesque vineyards and stunning natural beauty made for a truly relaxing retreat. The comfortable and well-appointed rooms provided a cozy haven after days spent exploring the charming countryside. We left with fond memories and a desire to return to this wonderful destination.
Restaurant: The food/dinner was exceptional. We travelled for a month and this was our favourite hotel in Spain.
Definitely worth a diversion to stay.
Breakfast was perfect.
Snacks sered with drinks before dinner were great.
Restaurant is closed one night in the week, but they served bar food instead which was wonderful
This is 4th time we've stayed at this hotel built in an old mill on a river. It's close to Ribera del Duero wineries--and a half hour drive from Mannix for baby lamb. Tall floor to ceiling windows overlooking the river, dramatic and modern. The breakfast is a la carte and very good.
The hotel is on the river bank, beautiful both inside and outside (with wild ducks and sometimes even a crane in the water). The room is a bit dated but large and comfortable. Very helpful staff (not fluent in English but getting the job done in Spanglish), great hotel restaurant.
Hotel by Douro River surround by bodegas. Professional and friendly staff. Excellent restaurant with passionate sommelier who provided great local wines to accompany the meal. Also, nice beer selection. Don't miss the black pudding lasagna, s signature dish.
All the staff were friendly and helpful. The quality of food at dinner was superb. They have a good selection of wine too. Worth a visit just for that! They were able to give me gluten free bread with no fuss. Quiet hotel and a good find.
Overall the hotel is great however it is appalling that you pay high fees for the night and they expect you to pay for access to the pool by half hours. Also breakfast is not even deserving a 1 star.
Nice hotel and winery. A little off the beaten track but right in the middle of the Ribera del Duero wine region. Only issue was the long walk from the room to the bar and restaurant….
My one-night stay at the hotel for a transfer was perfect! It provided everything I needed for a comfortable rest. Highly recommended for a convenient stopover.
