The welcome I received on arrival was wonderful. The gentleman on the desk went above and beyond to look after me.
The 4-star Occidental Pamplona hotel gives you the opportunity to visit the main points of interest of the capital of Navarre from a comfortable and relaxing stay that you can not miss.
Didn't see much 9f the local. There are a great deal of retail outlets around the hotel's vercinity that look quite interesting. The hotel I'm metres away from a junction with the A15 motorway, making access to it and leaving it very easy and rapid, although the roundabout can be very busy at times.

We arrived on a National Fiesta day so all shops were closed. The Ibis Hotel was perfectly adequate for our one night stay, the room was clean and fresh and the bathroom very good. We were able to park right outside on the street which was very convenient.
We used the hotel restaurant for an early meal, food very good and wine exceptional, a local Navarra. The staff in reception and the restaurant were superb, friendly, attentive and very personable.
As we were travelling with 2 small dogs a ground or first floor room would have been easier for us to negotiate and coffee facilities in the room an absolute bonus but overall, great value for money.
We arrived around one in the morning for a stopover. The lady on reception was absolutely lovely and spoke very good English. Staff at night are usually tired and fairly inattentive but the reception at this hotel was the opposite, thank you.
In the morning we went down for breakfast ( 9 euros) I think. I thought (just the usual continental stuff) coffee and a croissant, then a lady came out and asked if we would like cooked sausages, egg or breakfast? It was a bit early for us but it was a lovely touch and much appreciated.
From the moment you enter the reception you are treated professionally and efficiently. Staff are polite and very welcoming. Hotel is spotless and has everything needed for a short stay en route. The included meals are booked, evening meal and breakfast were very much above our expectation. Well cooked and presented with waiting staff constantly checking we were ok or needed more food or drinks. This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in, and the price was a bargain. We will be back
Very convenient from motorway, but very quiet. Nice bar in the hotel & food looked good although we didn't eat there. Lovely views from outside, even though hotel in an industrial estate. Friendly staff in the bar so all good
