The staff and owner were so nice and helpful in showing me where to eat locally. There really isn't much to eat right by the place, but a short walk through the neighborhood opens up to a commercial area that has a lot of areas to eat.

We were surprised at what a great value this property offered. The hotel had wonderful old style classy character but with a modern, spacious room with a balcony overlooking the serene landscape. There is a restaurant onsite for breakfast and lunch (closed at 16:00) on the day we were there. It is a 5 minute walk to a few restaurants and grocery store and 10 minute walk from the Camino de Santiago trail. This was a convenient and comfortable stay prior to a long uphill hike into Vigo and we appreciated the comfort and value.

It's a really amazing place. Old castle, fully refurnished. Very peaceful and calm surroundings and garden. Fantastic classy service, without bothering you, facilitating you for all topics, where to eat, where to go ... Awesome breakfast as well. Could only recommend this place.
