From the moment I arrived at La Casuca de Mamina to when I checked out the care and service I received, was top class. The breakfast was delicious, too. I received very personal attention throughout my stay.

We loved the view and the location - overviewing the bay, the ocean and the mountain range. The staff was extremely friendly and made our stay even more pleasant, above all the restaurant (from dishes to staff - perfect).
El Muelle de Suances has a pretty setting next to Suances Beach and Marina. This hotel offers a restaurant and bar. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property.
Set on a hill, 400 metres from La Concha Beach, Gran Hotel Suances offers superb sea views. It features an impressive white façade, a seasonal outdoor pool and 24-hour room service.

My son (9) and I recently stayed at Hotel Suances during our journey to catch a ferry in Santander. We chose this hotel primarily for its advertised pool and facilities, which unfortunately were unavailable upon our arrival. This was disappointing, as it was a significant factor in our decision to book our stay here.
Despite this setback, the staff at Hotel Suances were incredibly polite and accommodating. When our initial room didn't meet our expectations, they graciously upgraded us to a nicer room, which we appreciated. However, it was evident that the hotel could benefit from some modern updates and amenities.
As a man of culture, I found the overall ambience of Hotel Suances to be lacking. The outdated decor and limited facilities gave the impression of a hotel that has seen better days. While the staff's efforts were commendable, the overall experience left much to be desired in terms of comfort and atmosphere.
While our stay had its ups and downs, the kindness of the staff and their willingness to improve our accommodations were noteworthy. However, I would hesitate to book again at Hotel Suances unless significant updates were made to enhance the guest experience.
In summary, Hotel Suances provided a mixed stay with both positive interactions with staff and disappointing limitations in amenities and atmosphere.
Thank you for considering my feedback.
Enjoy the tranquillity and fantastic views offered by this riverside setting, 700 metres from central Suances. An indoor pool is available.

Made to feel very welcome, excellent room with great views. Location great, unfortunately weather did not allow me to fully appreciate this on an overnight stop.
This typically-Cantabrian hotel is surrounded by verdant lawns, just 300 metres from the bars, restaurants and shops of Suances, on Spain’s Green Coast. Suances Beach is 250 metres away.
Great location for the ferry port. Beautiful, quiet, scenic area with fantastic views, beaches, walking. Only stayed for one night,. so didn't get enough time to explore but will definitely make time to do so next time

A great area for quiet, nearby beaches and also country walks. Is on the Camino del Norte. Village is quite small with limited facilities but has a couple of Restaurants, a great Posada and a petrol station.
Very good hotel.
Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that.
There are about 7 parking spots outside walls. Enough in Nov but could be a problem in summer.
Hotel is in a small village with limited parking.

Despite possible issue with parking I would recommend staying here. It is as good as it looks.
Absolutely stunning hotel, I was so pleased I found this on booking.com, Upon entering the small courtyard I was totally surprised at what a stunning place this was. If I ever go to Santander again this hotel will be my choice Rooms are very very nice, breakfast also lovely. Wish I'd stayed more than 1 night !!

Not reach breakfast but there is some choice and no problem to get more coffee (very tasty) and juce. Awesome cleaning or the room - like 5-stars hotel.
Small character hotel in a lovely location. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and tidy, and we enjoyed the peace and quiet during our short stay.
